When I arrived at the back of the reception some guy ( looked like working there ) was cutting his toe nails!!!!. Rooms were meant to have a bathroom. Our room had a plastic shower in the room corner and toilet outside. Recptionist was so rude. The building was really old no lift I had a feeling it ;s dangerous... More

Don't bother with this place. I wouldnt even call this a hostel, let alone a hotel. I really wish i had read the reviews before i booked this place. First off, our view was a concrete wall. Second, theres no lift, only 5 flights of spiral stairs. Next, theres only 1 shower for 55 rooms (i think that should be... More

I have stayed twice in this hotel and although I agree that the fascilities are far from excellent it is in an excellent location within Montemarte. The Pigalle is also within walking distance and the Moulin Rouge plus lots of places to eat, metro stations, small shops etc. etc.. Admittedly there is no lift so you need to be fairly... More

Rude Receptionist! I had 2 rooms booked in which he messed up, he then placed me and my family in a room that is catered for single occupancy, yet charged me for the price of double. when i tried to confront him, he pretended not to understand me and starting blurting in French. It is just what other reviews have... More

We were hoping quite a lot - the description stated that we would get a bathroom and a shower which actually turned out to be a shower-booth in our room's corner. The pipes of the showers of all floors went straight through our room and as it was very hot, we heard constant noise of water running through the pipes... More

The manager/owner was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. The place smells and is dirty. He made up excuses saying our reservation was cancelled (even though we saw on his computer that it was not), insisted and insisted that we did not have a room. Magically after 20 minutes of trying to reason with him he had a room available but we... More

The man who works on the desk is not welcoming at all, and gives it a bad first impression. The room was not clean, and the communal toilet was awful. We were on the 5th floor and the only shower was on the ground floor and was again awful, a bit of a joke really. There are better places to... More

Very cold reception on arrival, not rude but didn't make us feel welcome at all. Extremely shabby and just generally a bit of a dump. We were on the fifth floor and there was no elevator, there was also only one shower in the entire building (and there is 30+ rooms in the hotel!) located on the ground floor which... More

BED BUGS!!! absolutely disgusting and vile. the manager refused to refund us our money despite the fact that we left an hour after checking in. we even took pictures of the bugs in the bed and he said it was because we left the window open. umm, bed bugs don't have wings. nasty smell in the hallway, toilet outside the... Let me start off by saying that I am not a picky person. Of course I like to stay in a decent, clean hotel, but who doesn't? My husband and I got there late, therefore we were exhausted. As soon as we walked in, the owner was barking at us about paper work, payment etc. When I seen the hotel... More
