PROS: - Good price considering Paris rates - Close to Metro - Clean and very modern - Service was Great (thanks Patricia) CONS: - Nothing I can think of. NOTE: While very live and busy neighbourhood, it is not the best in Paris for night walking around.

For a first trip to Paris I would recommend this hotel highly. Before booking we had read reviews describing poor facilities and the hotel being in a bad area but as we were traveling on a budget we took a gamble and booked based on the other, more numerous, "good reviews". As with most other places we looked at, this... More

Stayed 4 nights. Great location, close to metro etc. 125 euro per night , taken up front. Room was on 3rd floor (no lift). quite small room with shower and basin. shared toilet. Room was clean but furnishing and decor were dated. Breakfast was fine and staff helpful. Just so expensive for what it was, 30euro room in UK I... More

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bonsejour - I was pleasantly surprised by the space and cleanliness of the room (some of these Paris hotels can be risky). Things to consider: there is no elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage or aren't game for some exercise, try for a room on a lower... More

The hotel is situated in the centre of Montmartre. For an short stay and lots to do and see, it's a good place to sleep. No luxury, no elevator, one toliet om every floor, simple typical French breakfast.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
