Room was perfectly fine for what we needed, which is a place to relax and sleep after a long day of sightseeing. Both men we encountered upon checking in were very nice and accommodating. Bathrooms were nice, shower had no issues with hot water as I was able to take a nice, long shower no problem. I find a nice... More

I stayed in this hotel by myself for 1 night while I was in Paris. The staff were friendly. Great location in Le Marais with great access to everything. My only critique is that the room smelled either stale or smoky, I couldn't figure out which, but it irritated my nose and throat. Eventually I got used to it, but... More

This is a nice comfortable hotel if you're looking to stay in the Marais area. A bit on a small side but I was comfortable alone in a double room. The toiled/shower room size was adequate. Overall quite clean and pleasant. Very convenient location, close to Gard Du Nord for Eurostar and Gare de Lyon for other connections. As you... More

Dear guest, Thanks about sharing your experience of the hotel. Cash is not cheaper, the only thing is that we have 2,5% fees only for amecrican express cards. Catherine More

Very comfortable hotel, close to Metro in central Paris. Friendly English-speaking staff. Hotel felt safe and secure and with the Metro station across the road. Comfortable and clean rooms with air conditioning.

I thought the best things about this hotel were the following: great location right next to a metro stop (although it is not a big one and requires multiple changes), super comfortable bed and bathroom, and I really enjoyed the breakfast (10 euro) -- especially the excellent coffee. Best coffee I had in France!

I found, while searching Paris hotels online, that the decor in the boutique hotels can be...creative. Sometimes, pretty out there. I chose Ecole Central over several others because it seemed less wacky, and the decor held no unpleasant surprises. Our room was smallish but not cramped, bed was firm but comfy, bathroom a decent size with a good shower. All... More

I stayed here a few years ago for a week in Paris and it was lovely! Charming small boutique hotel with lots of charm - and the staff are a bunch of characters Valerie, the front desk clerk, is so much fun! So serious and has this demeanor about her that you can joke and say whatever you want and... More

Hotel is in a great location and reasonably priced. Hotel staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful in dealing with the loss of my fiancee's luggage. Rooms are small but comfortable, clean and come with A/C. Bathroom was nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I would like to say thanks again to Pedro and Vanea for there excellent... More

The hotel is in the one of the best locations from which you could walk to many touristic attractions. It also has an air conditioner which you will probably need during the summer. It's a bit expensive for what it is though.

We were charged over and above the usual rates for this hotel as the air show was on in Paris which we did not mind, however they did not even bother to make the bed and tidy the room on the Saturday. After speaking to reception, I was told they had until 4pm to do this which was not a... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
