Preety tiny hostel in center of Paris. Not pricy for this location. Good for students, single people who prefer to spend the time outside andcome back only for fall a sleep. One minus - few flats with high steps without elevator

I’ve stayed at two of the MIJE locations in the Marais and consider myself quite lucky when I can score a place there. I think this is just about the best place to stay in Paris. These may be old convent buildings that were liberated in the Revolution so are quite funky - although the rooms are nicely fixed up... More

The impression that you are staying in an old house, but all the facilities are up-to-day. You don't have to walk a distance to get to Notre Dame de Paris. A metro station close to it and in some minutes you can get to any sight in the city.

Lodging, food and staff were excellent. The location is central and at a walking distance from most interesting sites. I used the booking facilities for excursions for the first time and all was perfectly organised. highly recommend the Youth Hostel.

I traveled alone and visit Paris for one night two days, For me MIJE was a very safe place to stay. And most of the tourist attractions are very close to visit. But you have to bring the amenity and towel by yourself.

This was my firs hostel experience and it was very nice. I stayed 5 nights in 4-bed dormitory. I booked 8-bed but they gave me 4-bed room, so it was great. Everything was clean, furniture was basic but in good condition. Breakfast was also basic, but nice and sufficient (if you like sweet breakfast). Staff was very polite and helpful.... More

Located in a beautiful historic building in the heart of Paris's vibrant Marais district. Even has a lovely courtyard for the rare but coveted sunny day in Paris. Friendly staff, well-kept rooms, and a delicious breakfast, all for a good price. Hard to beat!

Super location, very friendly staff. super clearn rooms. We had our room on the 5th floor - taking the stairs was not a problem for us, but if you travel with heavy luggage be aware that there is no escalator...

I stayed here by myself for two nights in May and enjoyed myself. Friendly staff and a clean, homey building. The rooms are closed for cleaning/maintenance between noon and 3, and I arrived at 2, so I was able to leave my stuff in the locked luggage room and go exploring. You have to buzz at the front door to... More

Great location - that is by far the stand out quality of this place. I also found it to be very clean. But in reality I wouldn't realy call it a hostel - it's more of a lodging for school and university groups and therefore as functional as you would expect, and little else. There is no chill out or... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
