My partner and I recently stayed in this hotel during our honeymoon in Paris. Even though the hotel was undergoing renovations at the time of our stay, we could not fault it. The location was very central, making it easy to get to key tourist attractions, such as the Louvre. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very... More

The hotel was modern in the rooms. It was clean. The staff was great. You could walk to the famous cafés, restaurants, the Louvre, Sennelier art store, Musee d'Orsee and a lot more. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Be aware that you pay for the room before you see it!! Arrived at the hotel to find it in total disarray due to a complete refit. Decorators still working, carpet either not in situ or being fitted and frazzled staff. Our original room had an additional bed in it, the bathroom was without a curtain or light and there... More

We arrived on the 1st of August for a couple night stay at The Hotel de l'Academie. With renovations not quite yet complete our room was just readied in time for our arrival missing minor trimmings.and showing signs of a last minute clean up. Even though the hotel was just not ready in time we experienced a very warm and... More

We got a newly renovated room which had sparkling white sheets and a beautiful modern bathroom. Morning breakfast was "American" style with cooked eggs, toast, mini croissants, lovely brewed coffee and tea..all better than expected. The room was small as Paris standards dictate but we were forewarned when booking and offered a larger room at a slightly higher rate. I... More

We stayed for valentines weekend, and our room was gorgeous! Traditional French boutique decor which was comfortable and we had a lovely bathroom with a jacuzzi. Had some issues with turning it off! Great location for all tourist spots but also lovely cafés and bars nearby to watch the world go by. Kind reception staff also let us leave our... More

Although Paris was the star, Hotel de l'Academie provided a wonderful background scene. The rooms are quintessential Paris with windows shaded by awnings and railings adorning the view. The convenience and excitement of the location can't be exaggerated. It is as good as the online description. Front Desk Manager Patricia and her associate Irene enthusiastically answered all questions and offered... More

I just received a call from one of my clients reflecting on her two week stay in Paris with her grand daughter. They were so excited and pleased with their hotel stay and the care they received from the Front Desk Manager, Patricia and the rest of the staff there that I felt the need to post a review of... Loved our visit here. Arrived and was pleased to be told that we had been upgraded to a Deluxe Suite which was a great surprise. Staff were very helpful. Initially decided to stay here as I like the location in St Germain. Would definitely stay here again.

In the heart of the legendary Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, its antique-dealers, galleries, designer boutiques… this former mansion of Duc de Rohan, tastefully restored, shares the neighborhood with the Louvre & Orsay Museums, famous cafes including "Le Cafe de Flore" and "Les Deux Magots," offers a cosy atmosphere with old beams and stonework. Like a rare item in a historic case, this nice 18th-century mansion offers a unique scenery in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres. The marriage of the Empire-style decoration and the 18th-century architecture confers to this hotel charm and authenticity. ... more   less
