I was fortunate enough to be able to stop by Paris for a weekend (crazy, right?), on the way to a week-long business trip in Germany. I searched around Trip Advisor and found this gem. The young lady at the front desk (I’m sorry I forgot your name), from Germany spoke perfect English and French and was so incredibly helpful... More

A very wonderful, charming, little boutique hotel only a block or two from the famous literary/philosophical hangouts of old, Café de Flore, Les Deux Magots, and Brasserie Lipp in Saint Germain des Prés. Accommodations were really good though as with many small hotels, the room was much too small for the very large comfortable bed. No complaints however. Very clean... More

My husband and I spent our 35th wedding anniversary at this hotel on our visit to Paris. It had been recommended to us by friends and I'm so glad we took up that recommendation. The staff were fabulous, very friendly, knowledgable and spoke excellent english. The room was lovely, comfortable bed, full bathroom although we did have to ask for... More

In one the the most convenient, charming and fasionable arrondissement in Paris - this small hotel allows you to enjoy the intimacy of Paris with a luxury feel without breaking the budget. Smiles and very helpful staff at the desk greet you upon entering and leaving ready to serve. Just one block off the main St Germain Boulevard, you find... More

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends during the height of the summer holiday season in Paris. The hotel staff, Patricia and Irene, were fantastic, friendly, and very helpful in giving us directions on places to go, restaurants etc. The rooms themselves were well appointed with comfortable beds, chairs, and a lovely bathroom. We had received a... More

Very charming hotel. The lounge and public hotel area was especially nice and the staff very friendly and trying their very best to make the stay as pleasant as possible for me and my husband. The room was quite small and it was very unconvenient for us that there weren't any shelves in the wardrobe for our clothes. If that could... More

15 visits to Paris from Australia and this is the best hotel I have found for decor (just renovated, so tastefully), value for money, location, cleanliness and the best staff ever! I have recommended to friends, family or anyone who'll listen. Can't wait to go back, feels like a little home in Paris, love it to pieces.

Very nice hotel. Really felt like we were in Paris. Room small, but that was okay-beautifully decorated. Very clean. Front desk very helpful. Loved the location. Easy walking and easy subway access. The St- Germain -des- Pres area was our favorite. Room had air conditioning.

My daughter and I just returned from a week in Paris and were so pleased with this hotel. It was beautiful and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to the Louvre, D'Orsay, Notre Dame and many other places. We found great cafes and shops nearby, too. The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Patricia and Irene.... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
