We stayed for valentines weekend, and our room was gorgeous! Traditional French boutique decor which was comfortable and we had a lovely bathroom with a jacuzzi. Had some issues with turning it off! Great location for all tourist spots but also lovely cafés and bars nearby to watch the world go by. Kind reception staff also let us leave our... More

Although Paris was the star, Hotel de l'Academie provided a wonderful background scene. The rooms are quintessential Paris with windows shaded by awnings and railings adorning the view. The convenience and excitement of the location can't be exaggerated. It is as good as the online description. Front Desk Manager Patricia and her associate Irene enthusiastically answered all questions and offered... More

I just received a call from one of my clients reflecting on her two week stay in Paris with her grand daughter. They were so excited and pleased with their hotel stay and the care they received from the Front Desk Manager, Patricia and the rest of the staff there that I felt the need to post a review of... Loved our visit here. Arrived and was pleased to be told that we had been upgraded to a Deluxe Suite which was a great surprise. Staff were very helpful. Initially decided to stay here as I like the location in St Germain. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in this hotel with my friend last week and we loved it. It was really easy to find. Only a five minute walk from the metro. The staff were really helpful. Our room was ready early and we were upgraded. The rooms are basic but the beds are so comfortable with lovely bedding. Saint germain is a great... More

This hotel suited very well for my wife and me for 3 nights cultural history holiday travel. We prefer personal hotels with patina to clinical chain copies. The hotel was just like us: little grey in hair, time to wait 15 seconds to find the right water temperature in shower, and no need to pay for ultramodern hich tech or... More

My wife and I are just back from a 4 night stay in this hotel. The location is perfect in the heart of St. Germain De Pres and easy to find. We got the RER B to Notre Dame and it is a 10 minute walk from there with only one turn. Check in was easy and we were aware... More

Firstly, the hotel is at a great location, you can walk to museum Louvre and museum Orsay within 10 minutes. Highly recommended if you are a guy interested in the museums. The stuff are very nice to us, provided us information we needed within our trip. Gave us a free upgrade to a deluxe room. Also help us to book... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the heart of the legendary Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, its antique-dealers, galleries, designer boutiques… this former mansion of Duc de Rohan, tastefully restored, shares the neighborhood with the Louvre & Orsay Museums, famous cafes including "Le Cafe de Flore" and "Les Deux Magots," offers a cosy atmosphere with old beams and stonework. Like a rare item in a historic case, this nice 18th-century mansion offers a unique scenery in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres. The marriage of the Empire-style decoration and the 18th-century architecture confers to this hotel charm and authenticity. ... more   less
