A gem of a hotel in Madeleine, ideally situated to explore Paris. We came with our family to celebrate my husband's birthday. We could not have had a more warm welcome from Jean Patrick and the two delightful owners. The family run hotel is small, bedrooms are clean & comfortable. The continental breakfast includes fresh warm croissants, bread, home made... More

It is a small hotel, not so expensive and well entertained perfecly based hotel in the city centre of Paris. It is clean and comfortable. They are so lovely and caring and helpful. Easy walking distance to taxi stand and metro. Very near to Champ Elysees and Louvre. The shopping is excellent around there and within a few minutes walk.... More

I love this hotel. It's small yes; but it's Paris. It's clean, comfy and placed in a great location in Madeline. Easy walking distance to shopping Mecca printemps and galleries Lafayette and to metro stations to get you anywhere else you want to go. The breakfast at the hotel is also well priced and delicious. I would return.

Rated a 2 star hotel, this establishment is operated by a delightful couple. A low rise walk up hotel should be no deterrence as it is wonderfully located in the 8th and within walking distance of all the major attractions of Paris. And also to the metro and taxi stand. One minute to rue at honore, place de madaleine, and... More

We have stayed at the Hotel La Sanguine twice now and both times have not wanted to leave. The owners are lovely - so caring and thoughtful, the hotel is small but feels like home, and the rooms have everything you could need: extra pillows, air conditioning, TV, Mini-bar fridge, safes, and modern (if tiny) bathrooms. But the best part... More

So nice to go to a big city and find such a friendly hotel. It's a family-run hotel and what a lovely family, so gracious and welcoming with smiles and lots of helpful advice, in English with the wonderful Jean-Patrick, or in French as you prefer. Rooms are cosy but elegant, very clean and with air conditioning, nice showers, fresh... More

Been staying here for over 30 years - this is a small family run Hotel off Place Madeleine - the Madam is the best hostess and her Husband makes the breakfast jams. The Manager Jean-Patrick will organize anything for you and make good recommendations. We like the location very much - just two blocks from the RER or Metro. We'll... More

Very nice people and comfortable rooms. Had a great stay there and would recommend for very central location at a decent price. Located right next to the Concorde plaza, and many restaurants and other shops in the neighborhood.

We stayed here for 3 nights to be close to restaurant 1728 where we had our wedding reception. The location of the hotel is excellent, it is on a quiet residential street. Yet there are restaurants next door, where one can grab a bite to eat. The room is bigger than other hotels in Paris that we have stayed in,... More

Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe.
