I have had the pleasure to stay at the La Sanguine a number of times over the years and have always had the best experience whether it be with: family, friends, or by myself. The hotel is centrally located on a quiet street which allows for short idyllic walks to: world class shopping, the Madeline Church, the Louvre, the Concorde,... More

We returned here having stayed for the first time in 2013 because of the location and the welcome. We were greeted like long lost friends by staff who epitomise the experience of staying in a small family-run hotel that is located brilliantly for exploring Paris.

This is my second time in La Sanguine - I like it because it's very well located, 3 blocks from Madeleine Church. Another pos is the staff - the Hotel is familiar and everyone is outstanding - I recommend it!!

We first stayed at this charming boutique hotel over 20 years ago and were anxious to return for our brief stay in Paris. If you are looking for accommodation with all possible amenities then this is not for you! At La Sanguine you are treated more like family than a mere guest by Monsieur and Madame Robert, their family and... More

I've been staying here for years. It's a small family run hotel in a brilliant location just off the Madeleine - unpretentious, comfortable and very clean and with extremely welcoming staff. Air conditioning, TV, wifi etc. A standard double room and breakfast costs about €175 (no other meals available, but who cares when you're only a few minutes away from... More

The hotel is very well situated, walking distance to Champ Elysee, restaurants and region is very secure. Taxis are found very near as well. The service is personalised and they go out of their to way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They carried our suitcases down the staircase..... amongst others.

We had been recommended to this small family run hotel and we were not disappointed. It is located within a short walk to Madeleine metro and is located in a fantastic area of Paris. The rooms are quite small and there is no lift however the staff are more than happy to help with your bags. The rooms are clean... More

We stayed in this 2 star hotel, in September 2015, during a one week family holiday in Paris. Even though I am only giving a 3/5 score for this hotel, I would recommend it to others mainly due to its very good location, friendly staff and good rates. We stayed in room 301 which has a double bed, a single... More

Fantastic location, plenty of things to see and do nearby. The staff couldn't have been better, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable - we spent a lot of time in it after a bout of illness. The mini bar was well stocked and relatively cheap. Breakfast was also reasonable and delicious. We'd definitely stay again.

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
