Excellent hotel if you don't mind taking the metro to visit the places in Paris. There are 3 subways close to the hotel,as Paris has a lot of lines it's important to have this choice to make. To go to eiffel tower it will be around 30 minutes but to notre damme no more than 15

Although not very close to any of Paris' big tourist attractions, it is a nice place to stay. The Jaurès and Lumière metro stations are nearby so it is easy to get around. Seeing as the location is not that central, the price is also lower than hotels close to the attractions. There are quite a few cafés in the... More

This reviews a stay from January 2014. I thought I'd already written one, but apparently not, and I can't select the correct month any longer. The positive: The location is very convenient. 5 minutes by foot to the nearest subway stop, also not far from Gare du Nord (walking distance, if one so wishes). Obviously it takes a good half... I have stayed here several times over the last 3 years. I take high school students to Paris to visit each year. This hotel provides everything that they need for a week's stay. The hotel has a comfortable bed with a single bunk. The sheets are changed daily and the room is kept very clean. The shower is nice, but... More

Hello! I stayed a night in this hotel together with my mother in law and my partner in Janaury 2015. Well, e reached the hotel easily by the laumiere metrostop directly from the Gare-du Nord station with is a close walk like 5 mintues from there, the other Jaures metrostation is a bit farder away and do not have an... Liked the place, unfortunatly i got the room next to Lift and my life was hell specially after the long walks and cozy vacation times with family. Leaving that apart, the place was very nice, affordable, nice bar and food.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel whilst on our first visit to Paris. We drove from Nottingham,UK and it was my first time in France. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. There is a huge car park in the basement which was very secure. There is a supermarket right next door to it and there are two... More

I enjoyed pretty much everything. However, there were some staff members that could be more kind for a hotel. The breakfast is not included but it is very good for the price. The hotel is near to a metro station where you can easily reach all points of interest in the city.

Staying in La Villette

Neighborhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the center.
