I enjoyed pretty much everything. However, there were some staff members that could be more kind for a hotel. The breakfast is not included but it is very good for the price. The hotel is near to a metro station where you can easily reach all points of interest in the city.

Close access to Metro easy to get around the city. The room was spotless while basic I had a very good sleep. Breakfast in the morning I was surprised they had a good variety of food for ham, cheeses, cereals, bread, yogurt and fruit.

This budget hotel accommodated my wife, I and our 13 yo son for six nights. The staff were helpful and allowed early check in (11am) after our arrival times changed. The room is (not surprisingly) small and the walls are not soundproof. Luckily we did not have any problems with neighboring rooms' noises but this could be an issue for... More

The hotel is - what's in the name - budget. The rooms are for nothing more than sleeping but this is also visable in the pictures. The hotel is quite good located between two metro stations or velib stations to discover Paris bij bike (tip!). Parking is €10 per night in the parkinggarage, We didn't took the breakfast because there... More

I had stayed in Ibis Budget hotel in numerous cities, but this was by far the worst! Staff were unfriendly, unwilling to help and just plain rude. The rooms were what is expected from an Ibis Budget, so no problems with that. The location is also good and have metro stops withing 300m in both directions from the front door.... More

Very basic hotel. Ideal if you want to save money in Paris. Clean rooms. Service ok. Breakfast is basic and not included. Metro stations are very near: Jaurès and Lumière Supermarket, restaurants and fast food too.

There was a mouse in our room!!!! But the worst part was the response from the two guys at the reception desk: One guy rolled his eyes up as if it was MY fault to have found the mouse and I was annoying him by asking for help. The other guy demanded me to complain in French not in English.... More

Staying in La Villette

Neighborhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the center.
