Came in evening July 2015, and it was very hot in Paris. The hotel itself was pretty clean, but the rooms so small. The hotel claims air-conditioning but when we asked the deskman said, "open the window". We showed him the reservation showed air-conditioning he said, "yeah I speak English! There is no air-conditioning". Every time there after that we... More

Spent one night in this Ibis. Get off at Laumiere and exit via Jean Jaure. Ibis is obvious and near several fast food places. (pizza/kebab) and right next door to a Franprix. Super useful for location. Also near a park. The room has a shower, toilet (you can hear everything mind) and a double bed. It is basic but it... More

We were not expecting much when we went to this hotel and we didnt get much. There was always someone at the reception but the worst part is there used to be a lot of people always at the reception (outsiders) probably for wi-fi or cheap coffee no idea. There was a seperate shower panel, a seperate WC and the... More

I stayed here during a schooltrip. Essential fornitures but very functional, expecially considered the small room. Nice breakfast but the dinner served in an "italian" restaurant in the nearby, but wasn't as good as hoped. Quite cheap considered the expensive Paris

I stayed in a triple room which just nice for 3 adults. The room is clean. The metro station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Next to the hotel is a minimarket. There are a few restaurants near the hotel. I have only taken lunch and dinner in a Chinese Thai restaurant which is reasonably priced. The... More

The only positive thing about this place is the location. Everything else is terrible. I've been to other ibis budget hotels and this one was definitely the worst. Staff at the reception are very impolite, the room and bedding was dirty. Although we booked a room for 3 people, only two beds were made and we got only two towels.... More

We had stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was just like the other Ibis budget chain of hotels - well located and connected to the public transport, decent and clean small rooms. So it was perfect for a sight seeing holiday. Wasnt quite impressed with the staff at the reception as they never felt to be smiling - wasnt... More

Staying in La Villette

Neighborhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the center.
