We have used Etap extensively in France. This hotel didn't let us down. 7 storey but with 3 fast lifts. Clean but basic bedroom, satellite TV incl BBC World news etc, excellent shower ... the Etap equivalent of a power shower, and a spotless toilet. The hotel is 3 metro stops from Gare du Nord which is basically near the center. Breakfast was ok except for the croissants and eggs missing, hotel room was clean. Location: Hotel is in a good location and only two stops from the Eurostar station - so don't bother with taxis. As most of the places can be visited via the metro.
