The Hotel is conveniently situated near to Gare Du Nord in an interesting area near to the canal. It is a three star Hotel which justifies its rating. The rooms are small but clean and for a short stay are ok. The breakfast is a credit to everyone large portions of fresh produce that keeps coming served by great staff.....thank... More

The hotel is well located in a small street and away from the noise. The employees are nice. The price is stiil high for Paris but acceptable. The breakfast is also in compliance with the average, nothing extraordinary but acceptable.

Rooms are small, quite a distance away from the main attractions but can take the metro anywhere. Not got much space to get ready in the room. I would suggest taking the RER B to Chatelet then Metro to Republique then Jacques Bonsergeant instead of Gare Du Nord, the surrounding area of Gare Du Nord is not very welcoming, my... More

Myself and partner stayed in this hotel for a weekend break - was very clean, rooms were small but big enough for the 2 of us! Bathroom was spacious and clean. Bed was very cosy - we have a great night sleep after a busy few days! Great location 5 minutes walk to the metro where you can get straight... More

Hotel Soft is a great hotel at a excellent price, Good location, about 10 mins walk from Gare du Nord train station(Eurostar arrival) CDG airport to Gare du Nord is about 30 mins. Our stay included a continental breakfast with plenty choice. Very, very comfy beds!! Great sleep after a full day out sight seeing. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

It was easy to make the reservation even for Japanese. Room was small, but enough for one person and clean. Quiet enough over the night and comfortable. Staff were kind and helpful. This area has been becoming a hot spot and close to newly opened nice restaurants. Walking distance from both North Station and North Marais which is quite convenience.... More

Perfect for couples (of all ages) looking for a clean, comfortable and modern base for a visit to Paris. Room was great, huge kingsized bed and modern decor. Not a huge amount of space but that is typical of Paris. There was a mini fridge too which was very helpful. Breakfast was lovely, continental style with fresh coffee and pastries.... More

My boyfriend and I have just left Soft Hotel after a 4 night stay. He had booked this hotel as a surprise romantic get away to Paris for the two of us and I couldn't be happier that he choose this hotel to stay in. From the very minute we set foot inside the staff at the front desk were... More

Staying in Canal Saint-Martin

Neighborhood Profile
Canal Saint-Martin
The tree-lined Canal Saint-Martin is the focal point of one of the most romantic and hip areas of Paris. Watch boats travel along the canal while lovers and friends take in the atmosphere from the banks or the bridges. Evenings see hoards fill the embankments to drink wine and enjoy good company. The colder days lead people to hipster bars, cozy restaurants, and concert spaces.
