I do not understand why everybody is so positive about this hotel. There is nothing I can say about the location, it was my choice. The outside of the hotel looks nice. The lobby looks ok but from there on it is so, so. My room was on the 5th floor. I think that the renovation was done by amateurs... more

I stayed in this hotel for a week and could not fault it. It was clean, warm, unpretentious and Ahmed, in particular,was very kind and helpful. The breakfast bread was far superior to others I've encountered, with a wholegrain role being offered. Good tapas bar virtually next door and excellent base for getting round Paris. more

Chosen because of proximity to Gare L'Est and price. Very clean, has lift, no small refrigerator and no airconditioning. Could be rather warm in July/August.
