Not only for it's great location, just 1 street from the Sacré Coeur (1 minute tops), i would certainly recommend the place, comfortably connected to the Anvers metro station (less than 1 minute walk). The faultless treatment and constant attention of the stuff made my experience unremarkable, always joyful and helpful. The rooms are in perfect condition, just be aware...

Let's get one thing straight, I read all the reviews for loads of hotels (including this one) and don't understand what some people expect. This is "Continental Europe" so don't expect 5 star accommodation with squillions of services at an affordable price, not unless you want to pay for it. Why go on a foreign city break if you want...

GREAT THINGS ABOUT THE PLACE
English speaking staff on arrival, and helpful despite how busy she was.
Recommended restaurants to visit on arrival.
Literally 3 minutes walk to Anvers metro station and 5 mins to Barbes Rochechouart metro which linked to the main lines for other metro areas and train stations.

the location is terrible. Sacre couer and moulin rouge are next door which is good, but other than that, the location is squalid and a bit dangerous. A hotel in St Michel would be much better. The hotel is in the process of being redecorated so the rooms smell of paint and there is builders mess everywhere. The people at...

1)“The location is….better”:
Not true. The Hotel is ideally located in a very good position, only 250 yards from the bottom of the Montmartre funicular to Sacre Cœur and the Butte Montmartre. This is an area famous for the Impressionnist painters and other artists, theatres and little cafes and restaurants. It is also next to...

We had booked this hotel a few months in advance and got a very, very good price for four days. This is a very clean, well looked after hotel with basic facilities and large rooms. The rooms are serviced everyday with clean linen and towels, we stayed on the fourth floor and thankfully the hotel has a lift. The immediate...

Believe me, pay a little bit more and book another/better hotel in different/better location and this will be really better for you.
Here is our Management answer:
1)”…book another hotel….location”:
Not true. The hotel is a very nice 3* hotel. It was renovated in September 2003 and was awarded the 3* status by the City of Paris after an extensive review by a City Review Board made up of about 23 city representatives, including the Office of Tourism, the Prefecture de Police,...
