Location was very good. close to republique metro station and restaurants. rooms were good for what we paid. Two of the staff were extremely rude on multiple occasions and not helpful. Another was the opposite and cleaner was nice also.

Paris is a very expensive city. The hotels in the tourist areas are very expensive. Less expensive hotels are not in good areas. Grand Hotel De L'Avenue is good budget hotel in a quiet area.
