The staff was very accommodating for the full week we stayed there. The morning breakfast was delicious (croissants and baguette in Paris!) and the variety was appreciated. Our bedroom was comfortable (three single beds, traveling with my two children) and the shower water was always hot! Great location, too.

The locality of the hotel is excellent-close to Sorbonne, the venue of the conference I attended to. The room was very tiny, the bed was hard and not very convenient to sleep on. Wifi works excellently in all the hotel. The breakfast is typically French that is very frugile-some bread. some croissont, a bit of cheese, marmelade, butter and yogurt.... More

This hotel is good value but it depends on the rate they charge and the room type. As a solo traveller I book a small single room for about 100 euro - the rooms are simple but very functional for one or a few nights. The heating is fine and last time when here in summer the air conditioning worker... More

I stayed one night during a business trip. Had been staying across the street at the fancier Grand Hotel Saint Michel but that hotel didn't have a room one of the nights I needed, so stayed at the Cujas Pantheon for a night. After the Saint Michel (which is very nice but expensive), I had low expectations for the Cujas... More

I rarely bother to write reviews but I feel compelled to in this case. I searched for low price but well located hotels in Paris with 4+ ratings/excellent ratings in kayak. The price for the one night I needed to stay was 160 euros. While the staff on check in and the location were both great the room was horrible.... More

We found the hotel and its location ideal. We are great walkers, and the location provided ready ambulatory access to the Seine, Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Tuilleries, Musee de l'Orangerie., the Sorbonne, and other interesting sites. Good and varied dining options were nearby as well. The staff, each and every one we encountered, seemed interested in our well-being and... More

I've had the pleasure of staying in Paris a few times and really liked this hotel! It's economical and in a great location! Right next to the metro station and Parc Luxembourg (one of my favorite places in Paris). The staff was friendly and recommended some nice restaurants and locations and the room clean and tidy. If you are looking... More

Excellent location and clean, but very small rooms. Ask for a street view room, because the inner garden view is far too depressing and dark. No tea/coffee possibility in the room but was possible to order via reception. Breakfast is served in the cellar, but we preferred to eat traditional breakfast a simple coffee place nearby. Good WiFi which is... More

This hotel is in a fabulous location, close to public transportation near the Luxemburg garden and the center of Paris. The staff was extremely helpful, accommodating our luggage before our check in and check out times. We would definitely stay there again.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
