The room has no air conditioning system, so they offer a plug in device which takes room form the little space there is left. The wifi is super slow and doesn't work always. Some of the staff is very rude.

This hotel is walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and is in the heart of the city with easy access to the Metro subway system which takes you to anywhere within Paris. The Hotel De France is culturally specific to France. Very clean, the Staff are very nice and all speak English as well as other European languages. No ice... More

I stayed there for three nights and felt very good. The room was very nice and quiet. From my window I saw le Dome des Invalides every evening and night. The personnel is very helpful and willing to provide any information. Speaking about breakfast, I found it very "not french" and tasty.

Fantastic hotel nearby the eiffel tower, just a five minute walk or so. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room were quite small but clean and fresh, had a beautiful view. And the breakfast buffet were great with a lot of different options and you can make your own eggs so that you can get them just the way... More

My husband and I visited from California and were so happy with the location. Just around the corner from the Eiffel Tower and restaurants. The room was adorable. Just enough for the 2 of us. The staff were so helpful as we had lots of questions as tourists. The breakfast was amazing with tons of choices. Overall we will definitely... More

Stayed here for three nights while in Paris and loved every minute. Location is perfect (not 10 minutes walking to the base of the Eiffel Tower). Stayed in the executive room which was good, big enough and very comfy. Breakfast was good but the room itself for breakfast was fairly dim. A good stay overall, would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel has quite convinient location, metro station within two blocks away. The room I lived in was small, but I came to Paris not to spend my time in the room. More important that the room was clean and calm, had bathtube to relax after long walks during the day and in the morning you could take your breakfast... More

Marie-Helene could not have been more considerate when I moved on short notice to Hotel de France Invalides. She showed me several rooms to enable me to choose the one that would best suit my idiosyncratic needs. Renovated, the hotel is particularly clean as a result of polished wood floors, duvets which are washed after each guest departs and simply-lined... More

This hotel was booked through our travel agency. We looked up the hotel on line before having them make the reservation. According to the pictures on the web site & the reviews we felt confident this would be a good choice. We could not have been more WRONG! It turns out we were booked in a STANDARD ROOM. Buyer beware... More

Dear Mrs Justjoy K, Thank you for your comment, We indeed have different categories in our hotel; however, the pictures on our website (in the ''Tarifs'' area) are clear, explicit for each category and in no way deceiving. We kindly inform you that we have negotiated rates for Classic and Executive rooms with the agency you booked through. The difference... More

A cosy hotel in a very central location, only steps away from the metro and a stroll from key attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Élysées, and others. I stayed here three nights on a business trip , and enjoyed the location, including starting from here for nightly sightseeing runs (around 10k each). Rooms are rather small, but... More
