Quaint hotel in a great location in Paris. Rooms are a bit small, but honestly, it's Europe. It should be expected. The breakfast every morning was really great, and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful each day. The hotel is also located in convenient location not too far from local attractions, and the metro for easy navigation of... More

We chose this hotel for its central location in a pleasant residential neighbourhood near the Eiffel tower. Good place to stay for a short business trip with a bit time off to walk around Paris. It is an old hotel so don't expect air conditioning, large rooms, wide hallways, or a fast elevator. The rooms are extremely small (similar to... More

I got mixed feelings about this hotel. It's nice BUT it depends what room you get. I got very small and bad looking room at first. By the way they gave me a key and let me go upstairs to find out that the room has not been cleaned yet! It was changed to another one few floors higher and... More

I spent 4 days at this delightful, centrally located hotel, so French. Close to transport, Eiffel Tower and other attractions. The staff were lovely and so helpful and the breakfast was a highlight. I would recommend this hotel highly to add to a Paris-stay experience.

This is a small, cozy, quiet hotel perfect for a short stay in Paris as you are only there to sleep. The rooms with 1 large bed (vs. rooms with 2 twin beds) are slightly roomier. We stayed in Room 204 which was moderately sized for a Parisian hotel and had a beautiful street view with windows that opened. The... More

My wife and I stayed here 1 week for our Paris Honeymoon. Located in a quiet neighborhood, as stated by others - it is conveniently located a stone's throw away from the Army Museum, The Museum of Rodin, and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. We were on the 3rd floor, facing the courtyard - a truly tiny room with... More

It was small hotel but quaint. Served it's purpose for sleeping, beds were comfy. Christopher at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast is very good with many choices. Within walking distance to Eiffel Tower, that's a plus.

I picked this hotel because it is very close to the Eiffel Tower. It is across the street from Dôme des Invalides where the tomb of Napoleon is. The Museum of Rodin(the thinker, the kiss) is also down the block and all within walking distance. It is such a great location. There are great restaurants you can walk to, you... More

We checked into the Hotel De France after what was a very unsatisfying experience at another hotel. The manager, Mary Ellen, was super helpful and very accommodating, finding us a room immediately. The whole staff was incredibly nice and extremely courteous, as well as helpful with any questions about recommended restaurants and attractions near the hotel. The hotel room, while... More

We stayed here in Oct for 2 nights to enjoy Paris. Three of us in a tiny room on the second floor. The hotel staff was very helpful in answering questions about where to visit and what to do in Paris. The room inself was small but adequate. Private bathroom was great. Breakfast buffet was pushed by the staff but... More

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
