We stayed in the hotel November 2014. The area was a little like little India, but I have to say we - 2 women - never felt threatened walking to or from the hotel. Great if you enjoy Asian food. The staff were mostly friendly and very helpful, although one shift spoilt the overall impression of the staff. The lift... More

Its not really poor, but not good enough to be average. Its in an area that is not particularly attractive but near the Gare du Nord which is the reason I stayed there. Positives - really, the staff I met were very nice and in a good hotel they would be fine. Negatives - small room (but it is Paris... More

The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from Gare Du Nord railway station, and we arrived at 7 pm. The area around the hotel is very busy and noisy. I had viewed the hotel on the internet and it did look nice but doesn't give a true impression. I was very disappointed as was a treat for my wife.... More

Absolutely unacceptable attitude. Cancellation done by the hotel few days before arrival date. They haven't found an alternative, even if they SHOULD DO IT. Reservation was done through Booking.com 2 months in advance, knowing that September is the "hottest" period in Paris, because of different fairs and it's impossible to find any hotel. Hotel haven't notified Booking.com about the cancellation,... More

so many upset travelers - i saw 3 families upset trying to leave due to unsafe conditions- they will not help you with luggage, the croisants are burned, it's in an interesting neighborhood culturally but not safe . mold in the bathroom, the elevator goes out all the time. My friend found bed bugs crawling on her. The rooms are... More

This hotel is fine, and is a great value. Pros: location is super convenient for metro/trains and short walk to Canal area for bars/restaurants. Cons: rooms are very small (even by European standards) and the area around the hotel can be a bit dodgy sometimes. The lift was also a bit dodgy, but it never failed us! Breakfast was included... After reading reviews on here before we went, we were terrified of what we had got ourselves in for. It is down the middle of a pretty rough looking area, with curry shops around. But we had no trouble in the 3 night we were there. The hotel is close to gard du nord (about 10 minute walk). So great... More

Well what can I say 3 stars no where close 2 when the building work has finished. Odd hotel set over two building set about 500 meters apart. The front desk is in the build at 224. The staff did speak English but wanted me out of reception as quickly as possible. My room was in the other building which... More
