The location is the best thing I can say on this hotel. The rest is average. Cleanliness OK. Internet was non existent 3 days from 6 days of my stay. Which I needed it badly. Staff were nice. I would like to bring attention to whoever is visiting this hotel .... You better NOT be barefoot in shower coz my... More

Stayed in a room on the top floor. Bathroom was quite small but adequate. Room and bedding was clean. Staff were very helpful. Didn't have breakfast there so can't comment on that but there are lots of Crêperies and eating places around.

Very near within 100 steps away from Metro Saint Michel and RER. In the middle of the quaint small street with shops and restaurants. Like in previous reviews, the hotel is a bit old, size is typical smallish European hotel but nevertheless it is well maintained. They have good wifi signal too.No frills so do not expect anything other than... More

My wife and I spent one night at the Hotel Eugenie. The location was very good. Near the Louvre, Notre Dame and many restaurants. The hotel is small, the lobby was nice the staff was welcoming and spoke English. The elevator was very small. The room was also very small and a bit tired although clean. It was relatively humid... Great neighborhood. Tons of restaurants, bars and shops just outside the door. It is also very close to the Saint Michel Metro station. Can easily walk to Notre Dame, and the Louvre is a pretty easy walk too. We just loved the area. Hotel is older, furnishings are older, but we were OK with that, it was part of the... More

Check in and out was a breeze, I had concerns as Hotels.com where the only website that showed availability, the hotel direct website even showed the hotel as full. The location of this hotel is fantastic, right near the RER train station, close to literally hundreds or bars and restaurants. The downside for me was the price V quality. The... More

My first time in Paris....the Hotel Eugenie was chosen because it was a good price and it was in a good spot. Turns out it was in a GREAT spot! The people were very nice, the room was small but not too small, and a new bathroom! Walk to Notre Dame, San Chappel and the Seine...and the metro stops are... More

This hotel will definitely be our first choice if ever we are lucky enough to visit Paris again. And, if we had been in the room that our daughter occupied instead of our own, I would have not hesitated to give 5/5. The location is fantastic. The Latin Quarter is vibrant with a great variety of places to eat and... More

It's Paris, so you know size and services in a 3-star hotel are relative. Still, locateds in the center of St. Germain des Pres neighborhood, steps from St. Michel and St. Germain and from the local nightlife and galleries, this hotel has an unbetable location. Also... Free REALIABLE wifi. Also, prices are very reasonable, if you consider the location. And... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
