Hotel eugenie is located in the middle of latin quarter but when I saw the room I understood I made a mistake . It is so small that 2 people hardly can move around the bed or go to the bathroom, not to speak about the luggage. I was so disapointed that I decide to write about it durring our... More

Got a decent deal via expedia. located in Nation- very convenient for connection via metro. very small hotel with tiny rooms, but everything was immaculately clean and seemed recently renovated. very helpful english-speaking staff and a patisserie next door with amazingly yummy treats and bread. pharmacy and supermarket nearby. would come again.

Everything was as expected. Nothing fancy, convenient location, good value for Paris left bank. Hotel is clean and convenient for walking the magnificent city. The woman at the front desk during the day is quite stoic and indifferent. A smile at welcome and each day would have been appreciated. The in-room safe was not functioning properly and we had to... This hotel is small however the location is simply perfect. Walk outside and you in the thick of the Latin quarter with eateries and sights at your doorstep. We arrived in paris from London and easily used the local train which stops a very short walk to the hotel. I was a bit hesitant about the hotel after seeing some... More

We have stayed at the Eugenie many times before but now it has had a make over. The rooms have been sound proofed, the beds are new (they are fairly hard, being memory foam) and the toilet/bathroom are very modern and clean. The continental breakfast is excellent value for money and very fresh and sets you up for the day.... More

I have been travelling to Paris for many years to watch the rugby and this is the best hotel I have stayed in. Very handy for the pub across the road and plenty of places to eat and drink. Right next to Place St Michel. We will definately be back in two years time!

We planned our trip to Paris very fast, so struggling with the time we did not have too much time to analyze all of reviews and pictures on Tripadvisor. Due to the fact that we did not planned to spend our days in the hotel while being there, we payed attention at the location, at the price and at least... More

The location is the best thing I can say on this hotel. The rest is average. Cleanliness OK. Internet was non existent 3 days from 6 days of my stay. Which I needed it badly. Staff were nice. I would like to bring attention to whoever is visiting this hotel .... You better NOT be barefoot in shower coz my... More

Stayed in a room on the top floor. Bathroom was quite small but adequate. Room and bedding was clean. Staff were very helpful. Didn't have breakfast there so can't comment on that but there are lots of Crêperies and eating places around.

Very near within 100 steps away from Metro Saint Michel and RER. In the middle of the quaint small street with shops and restaurants. Like in previous reviews, the hotel is a bit old, size is typical smallish European hotel but nevertheless it is well maintained. They have good wifi signal too.No frills so do not expect anything other than... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
