Myself and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while on a mini-break to Paris. We booked directly with the hotel, and got a superior room for the price of a smaller room, which was good. The room was a good size, nice and clean and remained so during our stay. Some lovely toiletrieswere provided in our bathroom.... more

We have stayed in Paris before, and unless you are prepared to look at 5* my experience is that the rooms in general are quite small. However, we loved this hotel in terms of it's location, peaceful rooms and it had a cozy feel to it. The furnishings were all of good quality. The room we had was clean and... more

I was looking for a small friendly hotel on the left bank when I fell for the nice reviews of Le Marquis which are dominant on this site. We spent 2 nights in it and are confused as to what on earth one can like about this hotel??? The room was small and badly decorated: gloom brown interior, dark red... more

Dear Guest, We thank you for your comment and were very sorry to learn that you did not enjoy your stay at Le Marquis. The hotel has been entirely rebuilt and decorated five years ago by an interior designer Paul Sartres who chose burgundy for the bathrooms ceiling to match the colors of the rooms. We are sorry the decoration...

We were in Paris to watch the Rolland Garros tournament, and this hotel was very close to the venue and well located. The lobby and room were beautifully decorated and the bathroom spotless. The room was quiet and looked out on a quiet street. But who needs a spectacular view when you go around and see all the beautiful sights... more

I stay overnight regularly in Paris on business and stayed here on three seperate occasions during May 2009. On two occasions I stayed in the same room on the 3rd floor facing the main road (quiet but cobbled which is noisy at 5am when the rubbish lorry arrives) and although small was clean and comfortable. On the third occasion I... more

The hotel Le Marquis is relatively new on the Parisian hotel scene, and it deserves to be better known. It is one of two hotels belonging to the Inwood group, and the exterior appearance belies the comfort of the interior. This hotel is an older building which has been completely remodeled and redecorated to meet the highest standards for comfort.... more

We stayed at the Hotel Le Marquis with my wife and kids in February and I must say that we were more than pleased with our stay. The hotel is ideally located close to the Eiffel tower, the staff is courteous and the rooms offer great amenities. We booked 2 rooms, one had a great view on the Eiffel tower... more

The hotel could be really a peaceful and relaxing tool for a Eiffel holiday in Paris. Unfortunately the personnel has always been unfair, bored and NON educated with us. No one was standind at the reception desk the most of the time and we never received a single "hello" every morning when we pass by the desk. Breakfast offered expensive... more

We booked 3 rooms at this hotel on the understanding it was in walking distance to the eiffel tower and and a 4 star hotel. Our party included my parents who are both over 70 years, a teenager and a nine year old. The hotel rooms were lovely and two of them had balconies - all were spacious, clean, modern... more

I decided to take my Girlfriend away for her birthday to this Hotel in the hope that my search for a great Hotel would come true. When we attempted to check in I was told that they had double booked my room for my 2 night stay and were transfering me to another Hotel in Paris! To say i was... more
