Average hostel, I wouldn't recommend it if you are travelling alone: the neighbourhood can be quite intimidating. Careful if you are travelling with valuable items: no lockers, only one key per room... However, rooms are spacious, 6 bed dorms have a shower ensuite, the terrace is nice to talk to other travellers, and it is quite clean. You get the... More

The hostel is in a junky area, there are suspicious people outside and it is extremely noisy. We booked a room for 14 people and we slept in a garage, outside from the hostel with no windows and no heating. They have really big problems with organising rooms and are always moving people from one room to another. I will... More

I had read several reviews on Tripadvisor before I stayed at the Hostel and to be completely honest they left me terrified!! However, I was pleased to find it a lot better than I had anticipated. Don't get me wrong it is most definately basic and is not in the nicest part of Paris but for what I needed it... More

near the train station & centrally located. there's a basement where you get your rock hard bread. i stayed in 4 person room with 3 great strangers that turned out to be great travel buddies. it's very basic. if you just need a place to sleep and put your stuff for cheap, this is it. this ain't no fancy place.... I stayed here 2 nights after booking a twin private room on a website. Don't be deceived by a good website, this place is gross. It is located in a bad part of town, mostly african ethnicities and other immigrants. There is a good fast food kebab place next door though, that's about all that's good. In my room there... More

I stayed at Friend´s hostel for the last four days. I felt quite comfortable, but be aware of the fact that the hostel is really ordinary. The price for the stay is cheap for a city like Paris, so don´t expect too much. Well, the rooms are ok (the beds are not the best) and the location isn´t a quiet... More

I was intimidated at first, but the hostel is literally STEPS from the the metro exit, so it was fine. I was a young woman (20 yrs) that stayed there by myself and it was fine. The crazy amount of people quickly dispersed at night and I got back around 1am and felt safe. Very convient location and cheap prices.... More

I felt like killing my friend who decided to book me at this awful place! I was horrified the minute I walked into the overcrowded and dangerous neighborhood...Keep in mind, that I was a young single woman traveling alone. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here, especially women. Trust me...I was molested, harassed and threatened by the locals every time i... More

My friend and I stayed here for four strange and horrible nights. We decided to stay out late one night, and when we got back, someone had taken my friend's bed in the 14 person shed we were in. We told the manager and all he could say was, "This is not good." After he refused to kick out the... More

Istayed here based on cost alone. Like the other reviewers, I was not impressed. Being an outdoors type, the truth was the state of the building didn't bother me as much as some... I'm used to waking up in log cabins that smell vaguely of mold, are filled with bugs and constantly damp. The staff was coldly polite at best,... More
