The staff were just plain mean (along with the vending machine crossiant for breakfast). My friend and I had just arrived after an epic trip and we dedided to pay three nights in advance. Later that evening we decided we could only stay two nights because my UK bank account inexplicably decided it didnt want to give me any more... more

I spent one night in Blue Planet after my plane got in late and I missed my train out of Paris. It is very convenient to the Gare de Lyon, so it was perfect in that respect. However, it is understaffed and charges for every detail of your stay. On the positive side, you can meet a lot of young... more

Don`t stay at this place! The rooms are very small! There are only beds in the room, no chairs, no table...nothing...In PRIVAT ROOM there is only a shower ( veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy small ) and there is no toilets! There only one socket for 5 people. You should rent a sheets for your bed if you don`t have yours. There only one... more

It is a nice place to stay if you just want to sleep one night. Medium organisation about the rooms keys and the breakfast is weird, but if you just go to Paris for a concert in Paris Bercy, this isn't far and easy to access. Plus, this is not expensive. more

While staying at this hostel with a rather large group we were slightly discouraged at first as we were notified that there was only one room key, that there were no laundry facilities (while we were informed that there was), and that breakfast came out of a vending machine. The front desk staff was rude and felt it was more... more

The hostel looks alright from the outside, but once you are inside its a whole other story. Cameras everywhere which actually made me feel uncomfortable. A lockout rule for "cleaning" which seemed like a joke considering when we came back after lockout nothing had been cleaned, nothing smelled fresh, and they randomly made 2/5 beds in the room?! The toilets... more

Here are a few rules if you go there: 1) There is only one room key. When people are late out at night they have to knock and wake everyone in the room to have one of them open the door. 2) You can't go to your room between 11am and 3:30 (one day it was 4:30) for this "Cleaning"... more

I booked for 5 people 3 weeks in advance, directly with the hotel. The owner (Céline) confirmed the booking which was with a late arrival. Guess what.. when we arrived they said that they were FULL and that they never take reservations! I had the printed email of confirmation!! I talked to Céline on the phone (who of course was... more

The people were rude and ignorant, the room was dirty, smelly and uncomfortable with a few cockroaches running around, and the showers were disgusting, its the only shower we have had and felt dirtier when we came out of it!..yuk!..dont stay her!... more

I stayed at Blue planet for a total of 6 days at the start of a 3 month stay in Paris. I had walked past before i booked it and thought it would be a sociable place to meet people since there were tables and chairs outside where people were chatting. When i arrived a few days later, I found... more
