This was part of a package we bought with a Eurostar ticket. It was very close to Gare Du Nord and in fact nearly at the top of the escalator coming up from the Gare du L'Est. The staff were very friendly. We tried to speak French and smiled a lot which I am sure helped. However warnings: Its very... More

Temp 103F+ no AC even though tour agency EF listed them w/ AC, slept 2 hr at most the 3 nights. Rooms on top floors share balcony with adjacent stranger's room so casement windows (full length opening to balcony) must be locked. Even though when we got back in evening, ours was open! Glad we didn't have anything valuable. Small... More

We were booked into this Hotel by Althams of Scunthorpe, travel agent, via the tour operator Super Breaks for a wedding anniversary week in Paris. It was a disaster from the moment we got off the train. They did not provide us with any directions for finding the Hotel - did not even give us the full address - just... More

Having read all re previous reviews they sum it up. Poor decor and horrible carpet. Pillows a disgrace. When I asked for more pillows as the ones in my room were inadequate, was given a key to a vacant room and told to take theirs. I did and felt like I was robbing the next guests. Single room very small... More

This is a budget hotel but is adequate for a base to explore Paris. Breakfast is good. Staff are a bit temperamental at times but on the whole helpful. Sited within walking distance of both gare du nord and gare de lest stations it has easy access to the attractions of Paris, by metro.

Everthing about this hotel was depressing. The title "hotel" is far too grand. There is nothing grand about it, it is more akin to a budget hostel. Our rooms were both a decent size but very poorly decorated in dull colours. The floor of room 24 was on a distinct slope. The rooms did not have adequate lighting, which made... More

After reading reviews on here I was a little wary but our 4 night stay was fine, the room was clean and fresh towels each day. we had a room on 4th floor overlooking the main street, no noise disturbance. Staff were friendly and most could speak english better than our attempt at french! We didn't have hot water one... More

Having booked the hotel before reading the reviews we were a little apprehensive about this hotel, We need not have bothered as it was a very good budget hotel, The room was a good size with twin beds, the Juliette balcony overlooked a very busy approach to Dare de L'est which was only 100 Mtrs. away, The Bathroom was clean,...
