The hotel's a throw back to the 1960's & not in a good way - The room's VERY basic - Room was slanted - Bed moved across the room & mattress slide off. Kept getting up to put it back - but was awake anyway due to sirens, shouting, fighting, police dogs barking & general rowdy behaviour of the local... More

We were a bit worried about this hotel after reading previous reviews but were pleasantly surprised. The staff were pleasant, helpful and polite at any time of the day. Our room was on the top floor so we used the very tiny lift with our luggage which was fine for two very close people!. The room was clean and tidy with... More

Please do not go to this place, especially, if you have family / kids. It was late June 2014, as I entered the hotel, the front desk guy (I think his name was Ho Ho) seemed like just ingested drug; he could not find my reservation paperwork. When he found it, we were given "The Best room" which looked like... More

I was on a study abroad trip when I stayed at this hotel. It wasn't a bad experience completely. The hotel was decent. The area though is apparently a center for a well known gang, and that is their territory. Also, 4% of Europe's Heroin goes through that hub. It's not a safe place to stay, especially for younger people.... More

Booked two nights.... ended up booking a new hotel for the second. Staff are horrendously rude. Hotel looks like a public toilet from the 70s. Literally the worst hotel ive ever stayed at, and i used to travel round hostels! Can imagine it might be ok if youre on a 'lads weekend' - but only if you want the receptionists... More

It was certainly an interesting experience. Let's start with the elevator. We were assigned a room on the 5th floor. The trip up was quite something! The elevator is a 2ft/4ft space death trap where two people can't stand comfortably next to eachother. As for the room, the decor from the 50s (honestly speaking, I don't think the carpeting, the... We have booked this hotel for 1 night and stayed in a quadruple room. Overall the hotel is OK for Paris standards. Plus: - Good location - Quadruple room is spatious with a big bathroom - Room sufficiently clean Minus: - No coffee/tea facilities in room - Very very small elevator. So you have to go up and down several... More

The hotel is next to station Gare l'est and about ten minutes walk from Gare du Nord. The hotel has a very tiny elevator just good enough to fit two person standing. The room we stayed in had a large bathroom. The room had no coffee and thee facilities in the room. It was a fine hotel to stay for... More

It is basic, but has clean bedding and bathroom and wonderful staff. The receptionists are really helpful and will help direct you to any location providing a map. The breakfast is simple but fresh and filling. Some of the bedrooms are a little outdated but had all the necessities in them. If you love your clothes do take hangers as... More

This is a budget hotel, you get what you pay for. Our room was fine (#50?), it was small but worked well for us and we laughed about the floors being slanted. It seemed to be as clean as possible for a older and well traveled place. Our room was facing the court yard and it was still fairly noisy... More
