This is a pretty cool hotel in a great location in Paris. The rooms are quite small but they are clean and well-maintained. We were pretty high up, and the lift is pretty slow, but this wasnt problematic. Breakfast is average and distinctly French. Hotel du Roi Rene is within comfortable walking distance to the Metro and you are less... More

This an old, delapidated, and barely functional facility. You will be truly sorry you reserved here.We were seriously disappointed, and had I not paid in advance, we would have left. It is only fair to say that, at the end of our stay, they provided adequate sleeping quarters for our adult son for one night, despite our having clearly requested... More

Good only if you want a very low budget hotel and don't care about comfort etc. On the plus side the hotel is located to a very quiet and nice location. Its a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station.

We went there in June 2014. The hotel is close to Brochant metro station. We do not recommend this hotel as the room was very small, thin walls, stained bed and old furniture. The pillows didn't have any covers. The bathroom was renovated and clean and every day they woul clean the room. Overall, is a hotel made only for... More

I was there with my wife at March 2014, the hotel was in 17th arr near palais de clichy near Moulin Rouge and it had very good access to 2 subway stations : Brochant and Rome that you could easily go to Champs Elysee from Rome station. There were also supermarkets nearby and you could easily find anything you want.... More

Stayed at this hotel as it was in a good location. We knew it was budget but, the room was not clean. The reception area smelt very unpleasant. The hotel was undergoing renovations BUT no excuse for makeshift curtain poles, exposed wiring in rooms. I definitely did not want to eat there!

We arrived & no reception person was there & cleaner could not speak English. When we checked in the rooms were freezing & extremely small - we had booked a triple - with no room for our suitcases. Mattress was uncomfortable and I felt lie I was rolling off to one side. Newly renovated bath room had over-bath tub shower... More
