Stayed here just before Christmas time in December. Perfect little place to rest your head at night after a day of sight seeing, lovely continental breakfast and staff were very friendly and welcoming. You can even use the kitchen to socialize in the evenings with a bottle a wine, great way to meet new people. A stones throw away from... More

I enjoyed my four night stay with Perfect Hotel and Hostel. The location was convenient as it was near a few different metro lines, Montmartre, and many places to eat and drink. I stayed in an all female four bed room with a shared toilet. My only complaint was the strange toilet/ showers situation. There was only one working shower... More

We had not stayed in this district before but as all our usual choices around Bastille were priced out (back in October), we grabbed this as an affordable place to stay in at the New Year. The location and relativity to Anvers metro is really excellent. It wasn't my favourite location, but that is only because it seemed a long... More

I couldn't be happier with my stay in this hotel. I stayed in a double room with a private bathroom. The room was very clean, confortable and was not very small. You get free wifi -which works very well, free breakfast - one hot beverage, one orange juice, a croissant and a pain au chocolat (some days i couldn't even... More

We had the basic 4 person dorm. We got really lucky and had a balcony, that was really great. The breakfast is basic for regular people. (just no option for gluten free). The building kind of has a falling a part vibe. The staff is good. We had to rearrange travel last minute and they gave us a refund, very... More

Staff very friendly, very good location, quiet, but close to the subway. The room was big, modern and comfortable. Everything was very clean, and the breakfast was also good, for the price that we payed. We'll be back and recommend it to those who looking for good location, comfort and cleanliness at an affordable price. Walls were very thin and... More

We were travelling in a group of 4 and we stayed in this hostel for two nights over Christmas last year. There were two bunk beds in the room, but the room was incredibly crammed. The bathroom was also tiny. Our room was on the 4th or 5th floor and the lift was broken then so we had to walk... More

Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in a very convienent neighborhood. Metro, stores & shopping nearby. Washer, dryer, television and kitchen available. Need to purchase small things like olive oil for cooking. Sunday & Thursday has a open market at the Bastille. This is a highlight of our stay in the district. Absolutely loved our 7 day visit.

This hostel's bigest advantages are location and price. You can easily get to the metro station, so it's good choice for tourists. We had a room for three with bathroom. It was very small, but you can't complain too much. The service is friendly and willing to help or give you some advices about local pubs and restaurants. There were... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
