if you are looking for perfect experience in Paris this is hotel for you! Well it does not have the Eiffel view, but then again when you get to the Eiffel you have enough views there. And I did not come to Paris to sit in hotel room, but after long days walking and dinner the beds where soft, wifi... More

This is a lovely boutique hotel. Very friendly service, modern sophisticated design. Our room was small but very comfortable. All the amenities you expect in a room, comfortable double bed and very quiet, good bathroom and shower, heated mirror, scales all the details you expect in a good four star hotel. There is no restaurant but a lounge that serves... More

We loved this hotel. It is situated centrally on Place St. Suplice and just a beautiful setting. We had two adjoining rooms for our stay and I can't say enough about how beautiful the rooms were, how soft the sheets were, how simply pretty the decor was. Beyond everything else, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. I could offer... More

The Recamier Hotel is simply gorgeous. The decor is one of the best ones I've seen in Parisian boutique hotels. Location is perfect, right in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Pres. My room was so beautiful and cozy, I did not even want to go out to eat -and that's a lot to say, when in Paris. The only drawback is that... More

The Recamier Hotel is a very nice small hotel in the heart of the Saint Germain next to Saint Sulpice church and plaza. Rooms are very well decorated, the staff is most helpful. Complementary Five o'clock tea is wonderful, bathroom was well arranged and feels very nice. And of course - location location location! The only drawback was the room... More

So great little hotel with a serious noise problem. We were woken up every morning by noisy staff and guests. The doors offer no noise reduction at all. We had to wear our headphones every night to cut out noise from above us (stomping and dropping of luggage & kids). Noise every morning from elevator/hallway. This after I requested a... More

As I am always saying, staff are always the essential ingredient to a great experience. The front of house staff here are excellent, knowledgable, helpful and friendly. The hotels location, tucked into a corner of Saint Sulplice is perfect and the decor is lovely. Yes, the rooms are snug and the lighting poor but the ambiance of the place more... More

This hotel never disappoints. We stayed here again in July and found everything to be as good as all our previous visits. The location is great for us, we love exploring Paris by foot and so many areas are easily reached from Hotel Recamier. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Our rooms were lovely and it is so quiet... More

Hotel Recamier is tucked into a little corner of Paris's St Sulpice Square/Plaza, in the St Germaine area. The ancient and infamous St Sulpice Church stands in front of the hotel. Supposedly the church was featured in The Da Vinci Code. The Recamier is a small (approx 24 rooms) boutique hotel. The decor is very tasteful; modern, eclectic and warm.... More

This is an elegant small hotel virtually adjacent to St. Surplice on the Left Bank. The rooms are quite large by Paris standards and the adjoining garden is a lovely place to enjoy complementary afternoon tea. Breakfasts are not worth the 20 Euro price tag.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
