Wonderful hotel in the best location of the 6eme It's more like a top-quality private residence. Service is exceptional in every way. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Recamier and I will return to this lovely address on my next visit. Thank you.

I love this hotel and its location couldn't be better. Though our room was small, it was perfectly finished and furnished with high quality bedding and towels. A large opening window looked out over Place Saint-Sulpice and the church. The bathroom had a terrific shower, which was especially nice after exploring wintry Paris all day, and a fog free mirror.... More

A really lovely hotel, situated in the centre of the city, so easy to get to all the museums and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful and although the room was small it was beautifully decorated.

It sounds like you had a lovely stay and we are so pleased to hear it! We agree that it is very easy to go to the main Parisian museums from the hotel. Saint-Germain des Prés is also well-known as a perfect place for shopping. We do hope to see you again for your next stay in Paris. More

A very charming small boutique hotel well located next to Saint Sulpice church and square, tasteful decorations, friendly and helpful reception, professional service, and nice breakfast (no own restaurant but lots a choice close by). Our room was quiet, comfortable and pleasant albeit a littel small. Recommendable for a romantic stay for couples or with family.

A great boutique hotel tucked away in a quiet corner. Very French and perfect for a romantic Parisian get-away. The room was small, but more than adequate. The decor was a good mix of classic and modern. The location within Paris was perfect - close to great restaurants, shops, bars, etc.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
