We spent 8 nights there and this was a great shame going back home. Paris is a wonderful city and le Varenne a perfect retreat to explore it. Nestled in an upscale part of downtown, at the end of a nice little garden, the entrance of the hotel is hidden. As soon as you come in you know you'll have... More

We spent 4 days in Paris last month and decided to book this hotel based on many positive reviews. This was a real find at a reasonable price for such a good service. The entire staff has been helpful, polite and smiling. They gave us good tips for restaurants and how to visit Paris in a few days. Concerning the... More

We were there for a few nights at the beginning of january. The location is fantastic in avery safe and and upscale area of the City. Most touristic sites are within walking distance and the metro is very close. Our room was extremely comfortable, perfectly clean, and nicely decorated. Last but not least the service is very efficient and courteous.... More

We started our latest European trip here and were glad we did. It was quiet, comfortable, very pretty, and within walking distance of numerous monuments and museums. The service was quite good and everyone we met at reception was helpful. It is more than we usually pay for a hotel, but Paris is expensive.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights immediately after new year. The hotel is cozy and charming, with very comfortable beds and characterful rooms. The bathroom was small but with a very good shower. There was a Nespresso machine in the room but no kettle, so unfortunately no opportunity to make tea. There was no street or traffic noise,... We stayed at this hotel for four nights over the new year. Although the facilities at the hotel are good and it is in a good location we found the customer service we received at the hotel from two staff members less than satisfactory. I'll start with the positives. We chose this hotel for its location and we were not... More

Dear Kate, Thank you for taking time to post a review about our hotel. I would like to apologize for the bad behaviour of my... More

This hotel is very good and great value for money as well. One of the best things about it is its location. You can walk to many great attractions in 20-30 minutes (Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Hotel des Invalides, Musee D’Orsay, Musee Rodin and Boulevard Saint-Germaine). The Metro is just around the corner. There are several great local cafes and restaurants... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your kind review and for mentioning our premium location. This was a pleasure to welcome you and to give you a complete satisfaction during your stay with us. This is a good idea to suggest the addition of a kettle in our rooms. I will buy them soon. Thanks again and best regards.... More

This was our 15th anniversary and we had the chance to choose this very romantic hotel. From the minute we came in we knew this was going to be a nice stay. Very pleasant area, welcoming staff and cozy room. Unfortunately we spent only 4 nights there and this was terrible going back home. We hope to return.

We loved this hotel and had a real good time in Paris. Our room was large, comfortable and very quiet. Street Bourgogne has a lot of nice shops and restaurants. This was very convenient. The real plus is the staff, they were friendly and professional.

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
