We had a real good time in this hotel during our stay in Paris. Our room was superb, good size and nicely decorated. The owner took time to advise us about restaurants, sightseeing and even called an efficient doctor when my wife did not fell well. We will return for sure. more

We had a real nice time during our stay in Paris at Le Varenne. The staff is helpfull and polite. Evrything is clean and cosy. The real plus is the breakfast, so good, particularly the omelettes. The location is superb near the Invalides and close to the metro. Our room was not that big but reasonable size according to european... more

We spent five days in this hotel with my family and appreciated very much the very good value and the perfect service of the kind staff. Everything is done to make you fell at home. Our rooms were large enough and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are excellent and served in the cosy garden when the sun shines. We will never... more

We stayed here for a few nights before visiting Amboise/Tours and then returned to the Varenne for another short stay. The location within walking distance of most of the major sights of Paris and its proximity to St Germain/Left Bank is perfect. Our room was smallish but perfectly comfortable (apart from the sloping roof where you had to be careful... more

We stayed at the Hotel de Varenne for 3 nights recently. We liked the location, it is very centrally located and you can walk to all major Paris attractions, some in 10 minutes or less (Orsay, Rodin and Napoleon's Tomb / Invalides). Our only complaint about the location is that there isn't much going on in the immediate area so... more

Hotel de Varenne is truly a gem of a small hotel, tucked away off a charming courtyard on a quiet street. It couldn't be more convenient for many of the major tourist attractions yet is also well situated for rambling walks around untouristy Paris neighborhoods. The staff is a bit reserved but friendly and helpful. Our room was definitely adequate... more

Noise from the street is not a problem because rooms look onto central courtyard. The rooms were fine. Maybe I am getting used to staying in nice hotels, but I hate polyester bed covers with polyester/cotton blend sheets. Bathroom nice and in good shape.I found the staff a little chilly. more

I've stayed at the Hotel Varenne on several occasions with work and also with family. This trip was with my Mum and Sisters and we were really pleased with the hotel. It's very clean and the hotel rooms were a reasonable size for Paris! We found it a good spot for sight seeing - easy access to the metro and... more

I recently spent a week at Hotel de Varenne. A small treasure, in one of the most beautiful areas of Paris. Conveniently located close to Metro of Les Invalides and Varenne, it is just a 5 minutes walk from Musee Rodin and 15 minutes walk from Musee d'Orsay. The hotel is a small treasure, quiet, with a beautiful garden where... more
