I stayed here for 2 nights in July along with my husband. It has a charming ambience, but I found the staff stingy with small comfort items for guests. I did not get the usual complimentary bottle of water in the room; asked the staff for it and was informed that water is not provided in the room rate that... More

We very much enjoyed Hotel de Varenne. We stayed for 4 nights in early August 2014. No complaints whatsoever. The location cannot be beat, near the Rodin museum, on a street with little auto traffic, but with charming shops, restaurants, and groceries and cafes nearby. Our room was nicely furnished -- spacious, clean, and quiet -- welcome respite at the... More

It is a small charming hotel, but i found the staff not friendly at all, very stiff. Breakfast limited. Our room was nice, but the bathroom smelled bad, was not very clean. The neighborhood is nice, but kind of quiet. It has a good location near a subway station, les Invalides and Musee Rodin. A taxi was picking us up... More

This boutique hotel was close to all quarters of Paris - walking distance to all that is great in this city. The rooms were clean and made you feel like home. The reception staff were courteous and supportive of our needs But is the relaxed beauty of the hotel which created these feelings. Would we use this place of respite... More

Thanks to Tripadvisor for the very good reviews about hotel de Varenne, they were all true. We had a great time there for our 15th anniversary. The staff is very efficient and frienbly and our room was perfectly romantic. We loved the "quartier" with Rodin museum close by and many good restaurants. We hope to go back some day.

When stepping into the courtyard of Hotel de Varenne, you feel like truly entering to a hidden gem. The staff was really friendly from the very beginning and made us feel welcome. The location enabled us to walk to many places or take the metro if we wanted to (a couple of different metro stations relatively close by). We had... More

This is a small, tastefully renovated hotel in a great neighborhood. The rooms are lovely, with every amenity. An enclosed garden outside has comfortable seating for breakfast or a drink in the afternoon or evening. It's within walking distance of practically everything a tourist wants to see and, like all of Paris, near a Metro stop that will take you... More

We had a great time with my boyfriend during our stay at Hotel de Varenne. The front desk staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. Our room was large, comfortable and very cosy. The location is superb with many restaurants and nice little shops. We won't hesitate to go back.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in July, 2014. My #1 requirement in hotels rooms, besides the usual cleanliness is good AC. (OK, so I'm a spoiled American.) This room had good AC and all the usual amenities. The hotel is conveniently located in the 7th Arrondisement. The closest Metro station is Invalides. We walked from here... More
