Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, thanks to the TA reviews. I am pleased to say that we had very similar experiences. Our room was at the back of the hotel and directly above the breakfast/kitchen area. This did create a bit of noise in the mornings and detracted from the overall experience. We did, however, love the space... More

I chose the hotel in part because of the location and the view from the window. I checked it out through Google Street before booking and it was perfect. I wanted a comfortable safe clean hotel in an area that looked really Parisian and this is what I got. Many small shops and cafes around it. Close to the Seine... More

My husband and I and our 11 year old daughter stayed here and it was excellent. Although the room was not huge it was extremely comfortable, with great beds and a good sized modern bathroom. We were on the second floor looking straight across at Saint Severn which was lovely. There was no street noise and the location, one street... More

I was there with my two best friends from college to commemorate our 40th birthdays. We had room 601 with three twin beds. The view out the back balcony was Notre Dame and out the front a beautiful church and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. It was a small but incredibly comfortable room with a large bathroom with marble... More

This hotel is in a fantastic location near St. Severin and Notre Dame. The staff was very professional and helpful. The atmosphere of the hotel is very Parisian chic. I love the artwork and decor in the lobby and sitting rooms. Our hotel room was a Queen without a street view. It was tiny! If I could do over, I... More

The cleanliness of a hotel is very important to me - this room was spotless! Small but lovely, it was fresh and clean and modern but still felt like Paris. The MOST important thing to me is the comfort of the bed. These beds were very comfortable. My husband and I had two twin beds pushed together. After spending all... More

We were a family of 5 so we had to get 2 rooms. We chose this hotel because it was a very good value for 2 triple rooms. We had plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable! We were disappointed because we did not get rooms with a view, but the plus side was that they were very quiet.... More

Ideally situated on the left bank close to dozens of Latin quarter restaurants and a short stroll to Notre Dame Cathedral. Small boutique style hotel with welcoming personalised service. Hotel and rooms were extremely clean and well maintained, wifi was reliable and continental breakfast was limited but good. Perhaps unsurprisingly the rooms are very small but still comfortable. We had... More

We picked this for location-- easy walk to Notre Dame and Metro. We were pleasantly surprised by our commanding view of the next door St. Severin medieval church, and the vibrant neighborhood. Our room was modest, but clean and comfortable enough. If this neighborhood is your destination, Henri IV is a good choice.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
