Excellent location in the centre of Paris for small money (4 nigts/288 eur)! Stand with plenty of tourism information in the lobby. Close to Metro & walking distance to the Louvre. Elevator is working well, small size but good enough for 2 people and 2 hand luggage cases, Rooms with nice antique interior in old building. Very cosy room and... More

It's sad the hotel is in good location great restaurants , shopping but the rooms are filthy and dark . There was a bug flying around in the dark room. The staff is nice but the bathrooms were so dark you can't see anything. No pillows were given just a roll that they used the bed sheet to roll it... More

Very small, even 'narrow' and cheap hotel. Elevator for one peson only (very uncomfortably if you are there with your family, in the 4th floor). Poor room, dirty with some broken furnitures. Breakfast unbelievably poor. I definitely cannot recommend ...

Very good hotel for this price! Great location in the center of Paris! Continental breakfast was with good quality! The staff in the hotel is very unkind! They refused to accommodate me in room for disabled people, despite my pre-order made by phone. The hotel is not suitable for disabled people, because of very small elevator. Lack of parking space... We appreciate that this is a "budget" hotel in the middle of Paris, but that is no excuse for very dusty rooms and broken plumbing. My family rented a triple and a double room and found no toilet seat in the triple room and no fixings for the shower heads in either bathroom. There was one "round rubber mat" (suffices... More

If you want to stay in the inner city, close to just about everything, on a budget-this is the place for you! Big rooms, free wifi, french breakfast included, surrounded by cafe`s, restaurants, shops and the metro. Takes literally 15-20 min to walk to the Louvre, perfect location!

You get what you pay for, location is great in the heart of ¨Paris. Very basic rooms, didn't try the breakfast since there is a great " pâtisserie " nearby. Definitely not for posh and fussy people. Opéra and louvre are close, musée Grevin too. Many irish, american and australian pubs, restaurants, movie theatre and Olympia are close as well.... More

Remove the Stars from this Hotel and remove this Hotel from the website hotels.com and booking.com // This is not acceptable for Europe. Unfriendly staff, noisy, no hot water, tried to pay with credit card, at the end we had to pay cash. Very dirty rooms. No shampoo, no clean blankets. Smokey rooms.

This is a 2 star independent so you can't expect a 5 star standard. The rooms are clean and the linens are changed and room cleaned daily. The hotel is dated but for a short, cheap stay in a very central location it's excellent value. We were here for 3 nights for the marathon. 3 bed room on the 6th... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
