Very close to the Alesia Metro Stop (so also accessible to the RER B line to CDG Airport at the Denfert-Rochereau station just up that line), this hotel was a great value and the room was very efficient--excellent use of the small space it had and a GREAT shower! Maybe the best shower I've had/seen in Europe. I was only... More

I stayed at the Max hotel from Monday to Friday to attend a conference nearby. I was delighted with the service and standard of my room. I think it is quite unique in Paris to get a great room fully refurbished and equipped at this medium price range. The location is very quite for a good night sleep. The optional... More

Good base close to Metro station. bars and cafes, small but clean modern rooms, bed comfortable. Note only few coat hangers. Good place to stay for a short break. I would stay in a larger room next time.

Me, my sister, brother and my mum stayed at Max Hotel for a Weekend end of February 2015. We had a gorgeous time there: The staff was super friendly and happy to help with everything. The rooms were small but very quiet, very nicely up done with a modern barthroom. The location is close to M4, which brings you easily... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Max Hotel a week ago over Valentines weekend. The hotel was really lovely - the staff were incredibly helpful, the location excellent and just what we needed for our long weekend. We stayed in a standard double room, it was small but not cramped, had a small wardrobe and desk as well as... More

We just stayed at the Max Hotel for the past 3 mights and we couldn't have picked anywhere better and all at a reasonable price for a large city. The welcome was courteous and check in efficient. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had everything you could need for a short stay in a capital city. There was... More

Arrived at the hotel late and was checked in, in a matter of minutes which was nice after a day of travelling. Lovely boutique style and the rooms are nice and spacious. We were on the first floor and heard practically no noise, not sure if this was because it is a quiet area or the rooms are sound proof.... More

I stayed six nights at this small design hotel. There is a nexpresso machine in the room. And the room was just renovated last May so everything is quite new. Friendly staff offered their assistance to me while I needed it. Moreover, it is quite close to the metro line # 4 station, Alesia.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
