I stayed here for 3 nights in the ground floor room. Location is great and very easy to get to using both the Pairs Velib service and the Metro. Nice and quiet, comfortable beds, free wi-fi and a good hot shower (all v. important when travelling). Breakfast wasn't amazing, I would stay here again, but I would go to one... More

For my best friends birthday we decided to do an impromptu trip to Paris and found this little gem when deciding to stay in Montmartre. Cheap, cute, clean, the place was perfect for our four night stay. Smack bang in the middle of Montmartre, two minute walk from Moulin Rouge, five from the Wall of Love and ten minutes up... More

We enjoyed our 4 nights stay at the hotel. The location was great, at the heart of Monmartre and near two metro stations. Sacre-Coeur is only a ten-minute walk uphill. As the purpose of our stay was a combination of work and fun, we spent much time in the hotel. The room was on the 5th floor and very quiet.... More

This was a really nice place to stay. Although our room was small it was all we needed and the location was right in the heart of Montmartre but not too close to the Sacre Coeur or the main street that it was noisy. We had a cute window where we could look out at the street below and Paris... More

I came to Paris instead of attending my 50th high school reunion so I could spend some time with my family. Because the trip was not in my budget, I searched long and hard for an affordable place with easy access to Montmartre and the Metro. I think I read every review and looked at all the photos before I... More

An oldschool Budget hotel in the heart of MontMatre. Within walking distance of infamous attractions like the sacre- coeur and moulin rouge. The hotel is humble and clean, we were on the 6th floor which was peaceful. Our room was just fine for what we wanted as when you're in Paris you don't have much time to stay in the... More

A great little B&B in the heart of gorgeous Montmartre. The staff are really friendly and there's lots of fruit stalls, markets, shops, and restaurants on your doorstep. Breakfast is paid for separately (€8 each) and includes a baguette, cheese, tomatoes, a croissant with jam, a boiled egg, and coffee/juice. WIFI is really fast, available in your room. The beds... Came here with my boyfriend for my first trip abroad, and it worked out great. Perfect location right in Montmartre, which turned out to be my favorite neighborhood. The hotel is surprisingly cheap for the neighborhood, which is very touristy- but beautiful! It is a "budget" hotel, but you're in Paris to see Paris, not hang out in your hotel... More

Stayed here for three nights on a romantic holiday in Paris. We were impressed there was a fridge and television in the room, and everything was nice and tidy. We stayed in room 34 for which we have nothing to complain about: Hotel du Moulin is great budget accommodation and has everything you need to relax before a busy day... More

Stayed here for three nights by myself in a double room. For the location I'd say it was priced quite well. The wifi was great. The room was decent, although something about it felt kind of dirty? Would recommend f you're looking for reasonably priced accommodation in a good location.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
