To be clear, I enjoyed my stay here. This is a simple hotel that has some things going for it that I appreciated. First, it's close to both Gare Du Nord and Gare de L'Est, which is nice as I didn't want to haul my suitcase too far down city streets after taking RER B from CDG. It's also easy... More

The location near the Gare du Nord makes it a great option for a quick trip to the city. The rooms definitely show some age but the room and en suite were clean and well kept. We really got lucky with our view which was of the busy Boulevard Magenta and a very Parisian view of the balconettes on the... More

Just got back from vacation to Paris and stayed here for 3nights. The hotel is very near Gare du Nord. Accessible to all coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets and public transportation. It's affordable, simple, clean and very cozy. The hot showers are good and toilet is with good flush. I just suggest to have a floormat in the bathroom. What stands... More

Stayed two nights here as it was close to Gare du Nord. While the rooms weren't that great, they were clean and spacious. What stood out was the friendly care we were shown by the owner and his son. Both spoke excellent English and couldn't have been more helpful. The only downside was the free wifi, you kept having to log in all the... More

The room was small and basic but very clean with a newly refurbished bathroom. There was no air-conditioning but we didn't need it at the time we traveled, though I imagine in Summer it could get quite warm. The staff were friendly and we could see Sacre Coeur from our window. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes and patisseries close... More

Very close to Gare du Nord and Gare Est stations. Very nice staff that is eager to help. Rooms are on a smaller side but nothing too terrible. Breakfast is served at the table with croissant, orange juice/coffee/tea, cereal. Nothing crazy but enough to hold you till lunch.

The hotel room was stiflingly hot, with no air conditioner, no fan, and no breeze. The window would open, but any possible breeze was blocked by metal louvers. (And in any event, if the window was open, the street noise was loud, all night.) Some sort of construction going on most of the night

This hotel is very convenient if you are travelling to or from Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est, as they are both less than five minutes walk. It's a decent place for a one-night stopover - not a luxury hotel, but clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the wifi worked fine. My room looked over... More

After a long trip from the US, it was so easy to find this hotel. A very short walk from the Gare Du Nord train station. The young man who checked us in was very nice and so helpful. We asked for a courtyard room on the advice of others on trip advisor and were glad we did as the... More

I arrived tired and grumpy but the young guy at the desk was fantastic. I scored by getting the room near the entrance which turned out t be a 2 storey apartment with 1 1/2 bathrooms, living room, bedroom and kitchen. The staff were so helpful and made my stay so enjoyable.
