Excellent value for its location & ease of access: only 5 minute walk from Gare du Nord. Very handy for Eurostar travellers who come to Paris for a short stay & do not want to waste too much time lugging s/case, etc. through various undergrounds (many of which have long interconnecting corridors for changing between stations & lines). Also extremely... More

le' Europe is certainly not Paris' best, but if you are looking for something realistically priced close to Gare du Nord train station, this is the place. Staff were friendly and helpful. Though not much more than two star, the room was quiet and spacious. Wi-fi in our room was come & go. For value for money we'd stay there... More

Very happy with our stay. Strongly recommend Hotel de 'l Europe - warm & helpful staff, free wifi, walking distance to train stations, own private toilet and bath. They even assisted us on planning our routes and where best to have our currency exchanged.

This hotel is located in a very good position, only few meters far from the metro station "gare de l'est". The room and bed were comfortable enough; the staff very friendly and helpful and the streets around not that bad. Se enjoyed our journey in Paris and this base was great forma al our transfers

We came to Paris by Eurostar from London. Hotel is in a good location about 5 minutes from Gare du Nord. No hassle checking in. Staff was very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Free wifi available. Working lift. Excellent service.

Location is no doubt good, however our room was very small, though we have chosen a double bed room. The lift was also very small to accommodate two persons with luggage. There was no coat hanger inside the room apart from a small wardrobe. Other than this room was clean and clear.

The location is strategic. It's 8-to-10 minutes walk to Gare-du-Nord and Gare-du-est train stations, there's a grocery shop just across the street and an Asian Restaurant just 2 minutes walk which offers Chinese, Thai and Japanese food, which is also HALAL. The staff are friendly and helpful. Able to communicate in English very well. They offered me wake-up call and... More

This Hotel was better than expected. The employees helped us with promptitude, and even though it's relatively simple, the Hotel is well located (near from two subway stations), clean and confortable. It's not exaclty central, but the surroundings were safe and offered a good variety of restaurants.

Having made a reservation through booking.com, we arrived at the hotel to be 'greeted' by a very rude owner who refused to honour the room or price as booked. Instead we were, having no where else to go, charged €20 more, for the same room size, short changed, and refused a receipt. And the room smells...And it's noisy. Avoid at... More
