The Hotel Altona is a good and affordable hotel if you're just looking for a place to crash at night after walking around all the tourist spots in Paris. The staff is very friendly, the receptionist borrowed me an international power adaptor so I could plug and charge my devices. The only let down is that the breakfast is not... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights this summer (July 2014). The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Our family of 4 with small kids reached late night on day 1 and with the staff provided us with bottled water and milk so we didnt have to go around looking for them. Their morning breakfast is pretty good... More

Hotel is just a place to lie down your head at night from strolling the city of Paris,France. Unfortunately, it needs a lot refurbishment:(( Positive side is just 5 minutes to the metro connecting to Gare de nurd for RER train 20-30 minutes to Charles De Gaulle Airport. Otherwise, our stay was safe.

Hotel Altona is well located, close connection to the Metro and Gare du Nord. The room was small but very neat and clean and linen was changed daily. Breakfast was good though repetitive. Rooms include Wi-Fi and TV. People at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Only drawback was that as there were no fans and it was hot... More

Just a few hours before we were due to arrive, Hotel Altona emailed to inform me they had changed my booking to the Hotel Maubeuge. I only happened to see the email because I checked before we boarded our flight to Paris. They gave no map, directions or any other information about this other hotel. The reason given was a... More

To be clear, if this hotel were in the USA it would rank about 2 stars. The room we were in was rather large and the room was clean. Overall, the hotel is basic, small lobby, a working elevator, and had a good breakfast (they bring you a basket of rolls and croissants). With Wi-fi and breakfast included, the rates... More

Located very close to Gare Du Nord and also other metro stations. Can easily commute from hotel to anywhere in paris. Price is decent for the room. However the room is a bit oldish and the heating equipment was not really working. So if it was winter, would have been in trouble. No wifi in the room. But then there... More

No wires or pipes are running inside the wall. You have to wait a little bit for the hot water. The wifi is free, but there is almost no signal in the room. The whole hotel is not too clean. You don't get meat or vegetables at the breakfast. The district is very noisy and dirty, but the Montmare is... More

First need to know that the hotel is next to the Barbes-Rouchechuart metro and bus stop. WE arrived in the train from the airport and got off on the terminal closer, which was really far. Walked a few blocks pulling the luggage was awful. Make sure you know how to get there when arriving by train, by metro is really... More
