This is a lovely hotel- clean and newly decorated. From the scent in reception to the decor in the rooms and especially the fantastic rainfall shower, I can't praise the hotel enough. The staff are very friendly and even managed to find a weigh scale to check the weight of our bags. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate. The location... More

We stayed four nights in a room with a balcony (409). The hotel is located near Le Peletier metro station from which is easy to access bigger stations like Care de l'Est and Chatelet. The staff recommended great restaurants nearby for dinners. In general the staff was really helpful and nice. Also breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at this small boutique hotel for just 3 nights (hardly a scratch for a city like Paris) and the location worked out well. Centrally located to two major subway stops and close to the Gare Nord -- which we needed to access both arriving from the airport (10 Euros) and then to leave to go to Amsterdam by... More

The lobby was TINY (which was an indicator of the room size) and had mismatched chairs (some torn and missing arms). Literally NO regard for brand management in this establishment. There was NOTHING about this place deserving more than 2 1/2 Stars. What a disappointment. I felt like I was in a brothel.

A great little boutique hotel which is walking distance from attractions like Montmartre and Galeries Lafayette. We enjoyed the dark timbers of the hotel and our room had a nice balcony for breathing in the crisp Parisian air. Service was generally good and the surrounding area has plenty of little market stalls and cafes. We really enjoyed our stay here.... More

Trip to Paris with a group of girls for a hen, but would be just as great for couples of all ages. Lovely hotel with great staff. Loved the boutique style of the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly, and happy to speak English to save us from our attempts of French! I didn't have breakfast there but some... More

We stayed at Eugene for 4 nights - me, my husband, my 16 year old daughter and my 14 year old daughter. The room was tiny but the bed was comfy and the shower was amazing. After all, you stay in your room to sleep.Toilet was strange as it was separate from the shower. The breakfast was amazing, You need... More

AFter arriving at our original hotel we were transferred here, the sister hotel, due to an unexplained "technical problem". We wee given a paid for taxi transfer with a driver who did not know where he was going or even the correct way down a one-way street! The hotel is very small as are rooms. However, the receptionist was friendly and... More

Stayed 2 nights here, the staff was extremely nice and friendly. The price is good for the area. Room is a bit weird though. The shower is open to the room, while the toilet is in a water closet, kinda weird. It is a typical size for the Paris, so dont be surprised if its small, compared to those in... More

Hotel is very competitively priced for paris, and gives good value for money. Staff were extremely friendly and made the extra effort to help us with anything we needed during our stay. The room was average sized, and very clean and tidy! Metro station nearby can take you to all the attractions paris has to offer with ease.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
