For the the price of the hotel we were happy with what we got :) very good location, lots of restaurants and shops and a cinema opposite! Also only a 15 minute walk from the moulin rouge. The restaurant directly next to it was lovely!!! The lift was broken when we stayed, it was not fun having to walk up... More

For a budget hotel in Paris: very very clean! Room was just the perfect size for a weekend size. Small and cosy with all the basics you need/want. The staff is friendly and helpful. For a basic breakfast you have plenty to choose from. Perfectly situated to travel to different areas in Paris. And only one transfer away from the... More

There's a bad sewer smell in the room. The elevator was broken and they provide no help with carrying your bag up a very small staircase. The towels are very worn out and have stains. The breakfast is not worth the price and got sick from it. I couldn't stand it after 1 night due to the smell and the... More

Small hotel in an excellent location near Place de Clichy metro station. Providing great access to the city and a selection of local restaurants, cafes and entertainment. The room was a nice little double, with a clean bathroom. Two single beds, pushed together formed a comfy albeit separated sleeping arrangement. It was well equipped with a decent TV, kettle and... Very easy walk to METRO. Loved the neighborhood behind the hotel. It was away from touristy areas and found the #8 crepe place in all of Paris less than 10 minutes away. All of the staff speaks English very well. Loved our room #32 overlooking the roundabout. Perfect for a couple.

Prompt reply to my booking enquiry. Staffs are nice and all speak English well so no problems with communication. Just 2 minutes walk from Place De Clichy metro station. So very easy to get around - we bought a carnet of 10 tickets each for our use of 8 days. Works out cheaper this way. Carnet of 10 cost €13.70.... More

Modern hotel in a good location being next to the Place de Clichy. However, the floors weren't that clean and had hair in the corners of the bathroom. When we arrived there, there was a smell of air freshener and by the next morning a really bad smell of drains!! I wouldn't stay there again!!

The metro/subway is conveniently located a block from the hotel which makes it convenient to go to/from the airport, train station or tourist sites such as the Place du Concorde. Higher priced hotels IBIS/Mercure are about a block away across the main street. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Moulin Rouge and numerous restarurants, bakeries, cheese shops... More

This hotel is right on Place Clichy, almost next to the Metro. The elevator is a bit unreliable, but the room was just fine. The bathroom big enough and clean. Breakfast was very good. Really good value for money.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
