I RECOMMEND IT. AND I WOULD COME BACK. Excellent relation PRICE and QUALITY. NICE. CLEAN AND WELL LOCATED. OK. Yes. The hotel doesn't look like on the website. There are several maintenance detail to improve, and the rooms are not so nicely decorated like on the pictures. The good thing is that they are CURRENTLY WORKING ON MAINTENANCE, the bad... More

This was my first trip to Paris where I had a couple of days to sightsee before traveling elsewhere for business. My colleagues and I wanted a reasonably-priced hotel in a safe, walkable area and this fit the bill perfectly. When searching weekend hotel rates, it was amazing how many were 200E or more. This hotel was under 150 but... More

Stayed there for a night, needed a bed and shower. Those I got. Shower was clean, bed was ok comfy. Room size was good for Paris. Furniture, decor, unappealing. You do get wifi access. Location, 10m away from a metro station, 20m away from Republique but not much appealing there. 18-20 metres walk to the river but you can hire... More

A quite simple hotel, clean. Not far from the marais, only 2 minutes walking. The room was good, clean but a bit dated. Small bathroom but clean. The staff was very friendly. No need to,take bbreakfast there, lots of nice cafes in the street where you can eat. Not very quite if you stay at the streetside

The location is great - easy walking distance to Notre Dame and a whole bunch of metro lines, a longer, but still walking distance to Louvre and many other central points. The price was very reasonable, the staff - friendly and nice. They somehow mismanaged our booking by cancelling one of the two rooms we reserved, but the manager sorted... More

Nice hotel with a helpful reception desk. My room was big enough for my stay and the bathroom although small was more than adequate. I know hotels in Paris at this price bracket take a lot of flak, but I doubt you will find better at his price. Good location, lots of eating places and shops.

This little hotel is in a great neighbourhood - if you like walking you can reach almost every major attraction on foot! It also felt like a real neighbourhood - sitting in the local bar you can watch the locals run their errands, children coming home from school, friends meeting for dinner, it was lovely. The hotel itself is serviceable... More

My partner and I spent a lovely weekend in Paris, and we found this hotel perfectly suitable for our needs. The location is just great - next to a lovely vintage market, close to the main stations, and to all the main sights. Since we love walking, we never used the public transport. The staff was nice and helpful. The... More

I stayed in a twin room for four nights and found the Hôtel Le Relais Du Marais to be a perfect base for a long weekend in Paris. The room was small, but I did not feel cramped, with a small en-suite shower room. Both room and bathroom were very clean on arrival and kept that way throughout my stay.... More

I am a single 34 year old (female) traveler from NYC staying who was staying for a week in Paris for the first time. This hotel was everything I needed it to be--friendly, quiet, and well-located just on the edge of Le Marais on a street that was safe and cheerful. There are two Metro stations extremely close by. Lots... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
