The hotel's location is perfect to get around and see all in Paris by metros. We have spent 4 nights at this hotel. There was a lots of noise outside of the hotel at night and it's probably because there are lots of bars, coffee shops, restaurants near the hotel. If you love the night life in Paris, this hotel... It was a hotel chosen by TopDeck and I wish we could stay somewhere else. Staff spoke very little English, rooms were extremely small, the neighborhood surrounding felt unsafe and did not have hair dryer. Breakfast was bland and terrible. Very unhelpful when we lost contact with the tour leader.

Cheap hotel, clean rooms, super small bathroom. Central location around corner from Grand Boulevard station. It's down a little side street, so no views. Breakfast was basic and crowded. We sat with the linen trolleys at the back of the eating area. Friendly dinner ladies.

Accommodation is in a good location. Close to the main attractions ie. the Lourve, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, etc. The Metro station (Grand Boulevards) is 1 min away for easy access to other areas. The rooms are very small but adequate for a couple of nights stay. If you were planning to stay longer, you'd probably want to find something... More

Our room was small but fine for a couple of nights sightseeing. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend for a budget hotel. Breakfast was a buffet and was perfectly adequate.

The hotel is in a rotten neighborhood and combines a majority of thugs and prostitutes. The day I arrived, around 16:30 I was followed from the metro to the hotel by three "guys" to robb my suitcase. A walk in the neighborhood and we meet a lot of asian prostitutes, The reception at the hotel was "light": no hello, a... More

Victoria hotel has great location, just 20 min to the Louvre or Notre Dame Cathedral. Metro station is just behind the corner, all that make this hotel very convenient for people who would like to visit Paris just for the weekend or few days. When we were there (5th-8th October 2014) hotel was under renovation. After one day we got... More

We booked the hotel as we wanted to be near the attractions rather than be out of town. It was a mile from the louvre, Moulin rouge and champs elysees; 2 miles from the Eiffel tower so great location. The price was £150 for 2 nights for me and my wife. The room was very small but had a good... More

We stayed at the Victoria Hotel for three nights this month and were satisfied with our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was nice and clean. The same was our room, albeit it was small, but it was sufficient for our needs since we did not plan to spend much time at the hotel. The bathroom... More

A clean room with friendly staff slap bang in the centre of Paris. This hotel is an ideal base for all of your traveling needs! This no thrills hotel will leave your bank account feeling a little better after leaving what is an expensive city. And I mean expensive. The rooms are small with a pretty disappointing view. They are... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
