I know some reviews have been a bit harsh on this hotel an I want to set the record straight. The room we had was small as was the bathroom but it has obviously been refurbished recently and was clean comfortable pleasantly furnished. The lady that checked us in was very pleaent. The room was cleaned every day and clean... More

We just use the room for sleeping and fo that purpuse it was perfekt. The hotel was very good located and easy to reach by Metro. The breakfast could have been better with more variations. Good with wi-fi conection in the lobby.

If you want to spend a holiday as close as possible to the centre and are on a budget, you will make no mistake if you stay at this hotel. Clean bed, towels changed every day. Small room, but you come back only to sleep anyway. Very nice breakfast ( juice, baguette, croissant, coffee, tea, chocolate....) We recommend you to... More

This is a budget hotel, so if you want a hotel with a sink made of gold and foie gras for breakfast, you should find a different place to stay. I really dont understand what people are complaining about. The price is good, and the hotel is just fine. Pos: Some of the receptionists speaks english. Close to metro, only... More

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for three nights, the staff were helpful if you had any questions about Paris, the hotel etc. The room is very simple, small and basic but this was sufficient for us because most of the day/ evening was spent exploring Paris. The breakfast was enjoyable, with a very limited selection of food/drink.... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel was undergoing renovations so firstly, we had alot of trouble finding it as the signs were coveres. The receptionist was beyond rude. Upon walking in she didn't even look at us or say "one moment" she just continued having a conversation with her colleague for a good 90 seconds before... More

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights whilst traveling through Europe. Very basic hotel, room was decent with a small bathroom although comfortable. Breakfast was standard, Cereal, Bread, Tea, Coffee etc. Wifi in lobby only and staff were quite pleasant. Fantastic location with only a short walk to many restaurants and Opera. Hop on Hop off bus stop very close... More

This hotel in undergoing renovations. We didn't get much sleep as it is on a lane way that everyone uses in the middle of the night, yelling drunkenly to each other all the way home. And you need the windows open all night as there is no air con. The mattress was old and lumpy. The rooms are small and... More

Excellent location, 2 minutes walk at the most to the Grand Boulevard Metro stop, also opposite the famous Chartiers Restaurant and the staff very helpful, our room was very clean and all the local shops are at the front door with eateries, supermarkets and fresh fruit and vegs.and as it is off the main road, so quite with the windows... Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
