Stayed for two nights in April 2015. Definitely a good value for money. Check-in was fast and easy. Despite me not knowing French at all, reception staff were always very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. There is a storage are for luggage. Hotel is within a walking distance of the Gare du Nord and central Paris. We returned to... More

Very good, clean hotel with reasonable price. Walking distance to most sights. Our room was very small but enough to sleep. At breakfast is no meat! But there is a choice of several kinds of cheese, breads. Very good coffee.

A pleasant stay in a lovely hotel. We arrived in Paris before the hotels check-in, but they allowed us to keep a baggage in a secure room. The lady on reception gave us a very warm welcome in very good English, gave us a map and pointed us in the direction of the local attractions. All the reception staff spoke... More

Lovely stay at the Touring hotel. Great location with cadet metro very close by. There were also two small supermarkets near by which was handy. It was a little bit noisy at times as our room was next to the lift but it got quieter towards late evening. You have to pay for wifi, max 4€ for 2hrs. It would... More

Paris was full of drama for me and my family. Family trips are so hard. But the hotel must've been psychic! We showed up and the front desk man was so nice! And when we got to our room, surprise we got two rooms it was supposed to be a room fit for four but we got two rooms with... More

We extend special thanks to Gil and Paul of the Hotel Touring for making our 5 day stay in Paris so very enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot water in the sparkling bathroom was always good and hot. Breakfast was delicious – the croissants were yummy! Kudos to the kitchen staff. Our special needs were provided for... More

We enjoyed our stay here. It had everything we needed, room was clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast was nice. You could walk (and bike) to basically everywhere. Close to e.g. Montmarte and LaFayette. Would stay again!

Stayed there this October (2014) with my daughter. Clean hotel with spacious bathroom and lots of windows. All employees kind and helpful, even repaired my shoe when the heel fell off.. The hotel is situated at a vivid and safe area, safe enough to stay out till late. Metro 7 -a great line, taking you to Opera, Louvre. Chatellet- is... More

My wife and our 3 months old baby had a wonderful stay at the Touring Hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, had a comfortable bed, good shower and was very quiet. While the room wasn’t very large (hotels in Paris seem to be on the small side) it was big enough. The location is great - while not in the... More

Location was great, close to the metro - our luggage was heavy but it wasn't a problem dragging it all the way from the metro to hotel. (however read my note about the hotel staircase below). There is a grocery nearby which we buy our bottled water before heading out to explore. The hotel is located in a street away... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
