A 10-15 minute walk from the Eurostar station. Staff were so friendly on arrival. Had a double room booked, got room 310. Was an apartment. Sofa bed with TV in first room with small toilet, bedroom and bathroom. Amazing very impressed. Each item in the mini fridge is €3 so probably better off sticking up on the €4 bottles of... More

Plus: The room was very clean and well equipped, nicely done. The staff in the breakfast room and the room service staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Minus: The reception staff was rather unfriendly, especially some male staff. When I booked the room and even when checking in, I explicitely asked for two seperate invoices for... More

It's a decent 3 star hotel, kept very clean, charged me €100/night including breakfast, located at 10th arrondissement. Room is big enough for two people. The twin bed with a partition in the middle is covered with the mattress. The partition makes it very uncomfortable to sleep in the middle so one has to sleep on one of the sides... More

Where do I start here. I actually had no problems with the staff here. They were friendly for the most part and helped us the best that they could. My only gripe with the staff of they pressured us to book our return taxi with them. We did do and were told to pay them $18 and then $18 to... More

Dear Nikki L, Before anything, I sincerly apologize for the experience you are comenting here. Reading your feedback is frustrating and painfull as it is very far away from what we intend to do here at the Magenta 38. This is a decent hotel. Clean room. Minimal design. The bed was comfortable,, clean bathroom.. I stayed in September 2014 for one night during a Paris heatwave. The air con was broken but there was a fan in the closet. It was late and I was tired and I really didnt want to have to go through the trouble and... More

Nice, recently renovated hotel. Rooms small but clean (new towels every day) and with new furniture. Great staff, helped us with lost luggage and all of the other stuff we needed. Good location, walking distance to many of the atractions, and metro station just a minute away. Gare du Nord 7 minutes away. Caffe bar and a store right in... More

If you know the hotel situation in Paris (hotels are usually very expensive and even though the quality is usually very low) then you will find a little surprise with Magenta 38. It is a recently refurbished hotel in a relatively stylish quality. It would be a 3 star hotel (possibly 4 in some other places) anywhere in the world... More

Stayed only one night. We arrived by car and it was very difficult to find parking. The hotel should at least have a bay for parking just for unloading of luggage. We eventually parked at Gare de l'Est the price for parking about 20 hours was very high 32 Euro, but this is Paris. The hotel was Ok the room... More

My wife and I had a 3 night stay here and it was hard to fault it. The location of the hotel is superb, only 2 stops on the Metro or a 15 minute walk from Gard du Nord. We walked from the hotel to Notre Dame, The Sacre Couer, Monmartre, Opera (for the shops etc) and if you want... More
