Hotel Magenta was a simple, but nice hotel. There were computers in the lobby for your use and also the breakfast was great - a wide variety of everything! Perfectly located, close to major train stations. Takes about 30 minutes to get there from the Eurostar terminal using trains. Clean, spacious rooms. Showers a little on small side. Loved the breakfast! more

If you could transplant this hotel, in say, the Rue Clere area of Paris...you would have a winner. But, aside from the fact this is a clean, friendly, roomier than most hotels, the surrounding neighborhood is a disapointment. Location is not the best ( very close to Gare de l´est). staff is friendly however we arrive at 10:00am and the had to wait until 2:30 pm to have our rooms. Rooms are small but clean.
