We have stayed in this hotel five times and love it. The service has always been cheerful and helpful. We book via Eurostar which seems to make it cheaper. Sometimes we get breakfast included, sometimes not - but as there is an excellent boulangerie under the hotel, it does not matter! The lovely smell of the boulangerie reaches you as... More

Located right next to the Pernety metro stop, this affordable hotel stay was worth the convenience. The service was mediocre and the rooms were subpar, but if you plan on spending little to no time in your hotel room this was the hotel to go with. Interestingly, the smallest shower I have ever taken in my life was in this... More

Stayed here for one night, but I am a regular visitor to 55 Montparnasse. Excellent value for money for a three star Paris hotel, try the superior room, slightly bigger for not much extra. Pernety is a great area and the hotel is right opposite the metro station .. it can get a bit noisy with the windows open at... More

The room was standard European size and free breakfast was nice. Staff was helpful even though we knew little French. Safe neighborhood with a market a block down. This hotel was not what many may expect for what they pay for but consider that this is in one of the most expensive cities in the world.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better! It is located in a residential neighborhood with a metro stop a two minute walk away, and a bakery located just below the hotel. The front desk staff was curt, but not unfriendly, though they were very unhelpful when asked about local restaurants. The size of the room was very small, not... More

Although a tiny room, it was a very fair deal for $200 CAD per night in Paris It was clean, staff was nice and close enough to walk to a few places. It was nice to be in the residential area and be able to walk around town - sort of being part of the locals.

The hotel is very good value. Would recommend keeping all valuables locked up in your suitcase. I did my usual "leave 2 dollars on the bedside table" test on the first night, and the 2 euros was gone by the time the cleaners had been through. It's right next to a Metro station, which is great for access if you... More

My dh and I spent 4 nights here and used it as a home base to enjoy Paris. First, the pros: a top-notch location right next to a Metro station and near nice brasseries and cafés. The staff was pleasant, friendly, and helpful, and clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. The cons: it was a tiny -I would guess... More

We stayed for three nights and would recommend this hotel based on it's location and proximity to metro station. It was fairly inexpensive and included a complimentary light breakfast. Although the room was small, the furnishings were updated and clean. We had difficulty with the air conditioning where the front desk had to "reset" it often, even then it did... More

We had two rooms booked at this hotel, one for our sons and one for my husband and I. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and were bilingual. The room was clean, had modern decor, and was a decent size for a European hotel room. We had rooms that had a balcony, which had a nice view. The hotel has... More
