Stayed 4 nights at this wonderful boutique hotel . We requested a triple room comes with a double bed and 1 single bed but very comfy. For a triple room it was a little small but manageable if you don't have any small children who are active. Room and toilets were neatly decorated and clean. Location it self was the... More

Very good location, nice rooms with modern decoration. Really good for a weekend or business trip. Breakfast was not included, but you have a lot of coffee shops and restaurants around, so you will not miss it.

We stayed here over the Weekend. At first sight, it's a very nice hotel. Location is great, breakfast delicious. Unfortunately, there was one negative point which I do not accept in a hotel where I pay 175 euros a night: stains all over the room and hair (not ours) in our bed and bathroom...

As with all Paris hotels, the rooms here are pretty small. They are quirkily decorated and pretty comfortable. Be warned though, the bed I had was at least 6 inches too short for me, but I am pretty tall. The bathrooms are small, but functional and clean, with lovely big shower heads. All in all the place is really very... More

Great location near Opera. Everything in Paris is walking distance. Room, while a little small, was well designed. The room has obviously been refurbished, it is in great shape. Bed is very comfortable. Staff was also very nice. Overall a great stay.

Stayed here in twin room for 3 nights. Newly refurbished hotel less than 1 min from madeleine metro station and close walking distance to all the top attractions (Louvre, Galleries Lafayette etc). Variety of food places/bakeries to eat. Excellent use of space in rooms. Free bottled water in mini bar replaced daily which was nice bonus. A comfortable but affordable... More

Our family stayed in the Hotel Basile Dec. 25-28. There were 7 people in our group (3 kids). We had a family room and 1 triple room. Both were perfect for what we needed. The rooms are small but we are only sleeping there. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the opera district. Galleries Lafayette is a... More

I stayed one night on 27 December with my elderly mother and teenage son in two rooms. The staff were so kind and helpful. They arranged pick up at the airport and then early check in at no charge at about 8am which after a long flight from Australia was wonderful. The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. Great location... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
