We stayed at hotel Basile during the last 3 nights of our trip to Paris. The rooms are clean, comfortable and equites with everything we needed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. One of the staff Members helped me to call a local salon and change an appointment time as I don't speak enough French to do this myself.... More

I was here on business trip- really lovely walk from Opera across the Place de la Concorde to Francois 1ier/Avenue Montaigne on beautiful spring days in Paris. Rooms are not large, but well thought out- perfect for the single and stylish traveller actually! :-) I would stay here again, also liked the location/shops/restauarants nearby.

Really nice hotel, large rooms with modern standard. Elevator to all floors, and located on a quite street within walking distance of all larger attractions and restaurants. Maybe a bit expansive, but well worth the money. I can really recommend this hotel...

Wonderful! Cool decor, friendly staff, great location close to many shops and easy walking distance to Louvre and other sites. Triple room was bigger than I expected, plenty of space, quiet at night with very comfy beds and fast free wifi. Big hit with my teenage kids. Didn't take breakfast at the hotel, plenty of cheaper options nearby. Roissybus stop... More

Friendly and helpful staff at this quirky, central hotel. Extremely clean and well maintained rooms. Would definitely stay again in the future. Near lots of shopping, tourist attractions and the metro for travelling further afield.

We stayed there for 4 nights. The hotel is in the heart of Paris (3 min walk to Printemps). The rooms are not very big but still acceptable. It is very clean and comfortable. The hotel management is very sensitive about security. They even lock the automatic doors after midnigh and you ring a bell to get in. The beds... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
