Starting with the good points.. the hotel is located close to Gare de Lyons and this makes travel quite easy. Stay was quite uncomfortable due to small cramped room, continuous disturbance of trains underground We were supposed to pay at the hotel, but the credit cards would not work due to some error in the machine. When travelling with small... More

Good value for money in Paris! Rooms are quite small but enough you need. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with free wi-fi connection. Very friendly staff, at the reception, of the hotel. The hotel is just around the corner from Gare du Lyon. And walking distance from Bastille.

Great spot, best value for money found in Paris! I have been several time to Paris, read many reviews of the hotel and always heard complaints about size and quality of the rooms. Rooms are not of the biggest size but big enough for all that you need visiting Paris. Rooms are clean as well as the toilets, fitted with... More

It keeps the Best western quality standard. Close to Gare du Lyon and Gare du Austerlit , with very good subway comunication. Staff is kind and helpful. Rooms are a little bit small , but who wants to stay at the room in Paris In my opinion ony the breakfast is to be improved.

I personally feel this hotel is not worth the money. If you are looking for a quick place to stay on business near the Gare de Lyon, there are pleanty of choices...this one should not be inluded in your choice list.

Stayed for two nights, Saturday and Sunday so expected it to be busy. Paris was, but the Hotel seemed really calm. Superb staff, especially Mohammed who checked us in. Brilliant English speaker which helped us after a long journey ! Very knowledgeable about where to go for an authentic meal (The Terminus) and where to find the local shops. Room... More

Please be careful, we actually booked a double room at the Alexandrie, which we had stayed in before with no problems, but on this occasion they said they were double booked and needed to give our double room to a family of three. The Alexandrie then said they had a room for us at their sister hotel the Aurore. We... More

Room was clean but small. Shower cubicle did not have a curtain and the drainage was slow so the floor flooded with each shower. Room was very hot. The Aircon did not work- we phoned down to reception at 10.pm and were told they would reset it. Several phone calls later we gave up and opened the window, the noise... More
