I stayed there for 9 nights in mid March. The hotel, of course, is not a five-star and it needs renovation. But what made my stay here remarkable is the friendly staff! (They speak good english, too!) From the time I arrived till I left, they were all friendly to me. I remember being given a big bed upon arrival... More

Located in a mixed area, this hotel was unfortunately a very poor choice and offered little value for money. Very small room, stuffy, furniture from the 70s. Worst was that it was located next to the elevator, which is horrendously loud everytime it is used- also in the middle of the night. I would assume you can hear this in... More

I booked for 9 nights but ran away after 2.The room was tiny, very poorly furnished as were all the other parts of the hotel with furniture found I think on the streets. Unpleasent stuff, The guy who was there couldn't care less. The breakfast was bad too. It should be a 0 star hotel and should be half the... More

Stayed here with work and they will not be using this hotel again. The rooms are not very clean and things seem to fall off the wall when you try top use them. The walls are paper thin and the wifi only works if you have a room on the first floor. The reception seems more interested in chatting to... More

The staff were very polite and helpful. It is also in a convenient location, just a few blocks from the metro at La Place Republique. It was our first trip to Paris. I was prepared for a smaller room compared to North American standards. However, I could not recommend this hotel unless your only other option is to stay in... More

We stayed in the Leonard for 4 days in april 2009. It is located closely to the Metro 3 exit "Parmentiers" at walking distance. I found it easily reachable and from there you can quickly reach the centre and the tourist attractions. The hotel outside looks luxurious, but that is only the outside. The rooms are very poor and small... More

this is your average hotel. The staff speaks English and they are nicer to you if you speak French. The rooms are clean. The elevator can only hold 2 persons at a time. It's located about 5 min from the metro. There are a couple of nice bakeries around to get your croissant in the morning and your baguette for... More

While doing a language course in Paris for 4 weeks I spent the whole time staying in this estabishment and wanted to offer something helpful to people thinking to stay there. If you don't mind the journey to and from La Defense then the distance is okay (use R.E.R line B), but be aware it's not in a location you... More
