We were regular visitors during time we lived next door. Super bar, super staff, super clientelle. Very friendly welcoming local spot & near all Montmartre has to offer. Not a hotel though! Great happy hour also, just the best!

This place doesn't do anything for me. We even went out of our way to get here. Yes, it's away from Place du Tertre and the hustle of Montmartre but it doesn't offer anything special in return. I know better places in this neighbourhood with similar prices but better atmosphere.

Two visits in 3 days. What more can we say! Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and clientele. Full of character and characters! Lovely artist fella who drew our picture and was happy with just a drink. Chill out and enjoy good fresh cooked food and good beers accompanied by mellow jazz. Barman was a poetry of service juggling beer jugs and... More

I saw this bar on the 'Spottedbylocals' site and wanted to visit. We actually found it by chance after stumbling down the hill from Montmartre. I just popped my head inside the door and one of the regulars (I found this out later) asked me if I was Irish and offered to buy me a beer. I made my excuses... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
