This quaint hotel is situated in an excellent location, near Le Sorbonne, Notre Dame, St. Germaine Blvd and on Rue Michel, walked to Luxembourg Gardens. We were able to walk every where. Took the Batobus along the river Seine and got off on many stops to walk to the important locations. The staff at this hotel were very helpful with... More

A most accomodating little hotel, smack in the middle of the Latin Quarter. Close to Boul. St. Germain , Boul. Mich., and the great restos on rue des Ecoles and rue St. Jacques. A tiny elevator adds to the charm, and our room was as spacious as you find in a real Parisien hotel. We asked for and received a... More

Location wise this hotel is perfect. We walked or caught the metro to every tourist attraction in Paris. Lots of restaurants & very lively at night. Rooms were quiet. Monsieur Lee who was on reception during our stay was amazing with directions & info. It is in the older part of Paris so it is on the older side but... More

The biggest positive about this hotel is its location - very close to the metro station and most of the landmarks that matter in the majestic city of Paris. Remember being able to walk to most of the landmarks without the metro as well - which is perfect as I feel on the foot is the best way to explore... More

Plan on going there again next year. The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and nice - small but not uncomfortably small. They picked us up at the airport and arranged for taxi back to airport. Wonderful customer service.

We stayed five nights in this hotel back in June. Our stay was perfect. The location of this hotel is the best. We walked to many attractions (catacombs, Notre Dame, Ste Chapelle, Louvre, Jardin de Luxembourg, boat cruise on Seine) and took the metro everywhere else (metro stop is two blocks away). The restaurants and night life in the area... More

Our family of four stayed here in late June for three nights. The reception clerk during the day is a very friendly and helpful gentleman - he gave us lots of useful advice and was very solicitous. There is a lot of street noise outside the hotel, and because there is no air conditioning we needed to keep our windows... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here at the end of July. We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this hotel was. The staff was very helpful and it was in a great location! If you're looking for a great place to stay -- this is your place.

We have stayed in Hotel du College de France for a couple of days and this definitely is the best place to stay in Paris. Where can you find such a hotel in Paris ? Good price, good location and excellent service. - Very well located, in the center of Paris, next to the Latin Quarter and to delicious restaurants.... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
