This small hotel has small clean rooms with your own bathroom. It's quite comfortable, a block from the Sorbonne and boulevard Saint Germain in the Latin Quarter. You can walk to the Seine, Cathedral Notre Dame and Luxembourg Gardens in 5 minutes. Limitless restaurants of all kinds and prices are nearby. Only a few rooms have balconies and there is... More

This hotel is just lovely! The staff are very friendly and the room is very clean and secure, with good bathroom facilities! The room we stayed in was also very airy and it was nice to hear the sounds from the streets below. The location was so perfect - walking distance from Hotel de Ville/Notre Dame and very close to... A lovely Hotel in a great area of Paris. Room was clean and quite comfortable. The location was brilliant for all restaurants etc. We went to the French Open Tennis and was within easy distance on Metro. Would definately stay here again.

This budget hotel for Paris offered excellent service above expectations. All hotel personnel were in touch via email to offer directions, assist with airport transfer, provide assistance with travel planning, and made last minute changes to reservations. I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of beds, blankets, and space in this basic twin room. If your wanting to be in... More

We loved this hotel! The staff was very nice and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The room had a beautiful, big window with a great view of a little church down the street. The location couldn't have been better - in the Latin Quarter. We were within walking distance of Notre Dame and many other sites, innumerable... More

I couldn't be more pleased with my second stay at HCF. I booked the hotel early for our May 2015 trip, mentioned in my email that it was my second stay, and said how much we had enjoyed our stay in our room last time. Mr. Santa Ana wrote back within a day and surprised me by saying that he... More

The hotel is small and central, adjacent to Boulevard St Germaine, with hundreds of restaurants nearby. We chose a room on 6th floor as it was bigger with a balcony, but the lift only services the 5th floor, so that may be important to you. The room was clean and comfortable with a good bathroom. The breakfast was good continental.... More

We stayed for 3 nights in the spring. The hotel is centrally located, once we got off the metro we had about a 5 minute walk to the hotel. A nice location, near Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter was very enjoyable as well. We liked the room and I loved that the window opened onto the street. If it... More

I booked this hotel after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. It turned out to be a perfect choice. I corresponded with the proprietors via email and once over the phone before we arrived. They were patient with my minimal French and spoke English when I couldn't keep up the conversation. They were welcoming and helpful. We booked a king room with... More

My wie and i had the pleasure of calling this hotel home during a 9 night stay. This was our first trip to Europe and were concerned about location, logistics, and laguage barriers. My friendly staff, in particular Mr. Linh, Mr. Bruno, and Mr Santana, put all our cares to rest. They spoke wonder english, were always avaliable to point... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
