My wife and I just returned from a 10 day stay in Paris at the Hotel Luxembourg Parc to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Wow! First, the staff was incredibly helpful, from the moment we came in until the moment we left. Restaurant recommendations, taxis - insight, etc. Secondly the room was spacious, comfortable, clean and very stylish. The amenities... More

We spent 5 nights in this beautiful boutique hotel in May and it exceeded all our expectations. This is a lovely, small hotel with big hotel services and staff that could not have been more friendly and eager to please. We had a large room ( #34), by Paris standards, with separate sitting area, wardrobe/dressing area and beautiful marble mathroom... More

We stayed here for our honeymoon for a few days after reading the excellent reviews here. We had a similar experience as most others. The rooms are well sized, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the free wifi works :) It's in a nice quiet spot across the street from the gardens which makes having a picnic really... More

When you find a hotel you are comfortable in and the overall quality doesn't change, you stick to it. That's precisely why my wife and I always stay at Hotel Lux Parc when we're in Paris. Good sized rooms for the price, very very good reception staff, lovely marble bathrooms, fast enough free wifi, perfect location in non-touristy area, comfy... More

Stayed for a long week-end at the beginning of May. Great hotel; friendly staff; great location (for the main museums).

My fiancée has been to Paris many times, and on this 30th birthday weekend trip, she said it was the best she has been to in Paris. By all accounts, the size of the rooms is biggest difference. We were in a superior double, overlooking the cobbled side street. Great location by the park. Close to St Germain de pres... More

We liked the feel of this hotel - it has a solid 'French feel' which conveys the history and elegance of Paris. Our superior room had adequate space with a lovely marble bathroom complete with bathrobes and slippers. Not lovers of air conditioning, we preferred to sleep with the window open as the hotel is situated in a quiet area... More

We returned after a gap of two years to find the same friendly and helpful team, and the hotel as quietly stylish and as immaculately clean as before. The only quibble (and this is really petty of me!) would be that the breakfast croissants and pastries, although still good, are not as yummy as before: we did not see any... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
