This is our 3rd stay of 10 or more nights and we will return. Small well run hotel. Staff are helpful and location is excellent. It is only a 2 star and that's what you pay so don't expect 4 star. On higher floor, view is spectacular. See Eiffel Tower at night, turn head and see Pantheon, and Montparnesee Tower.... More

Crikey, this place is so well located, so in expensive for where it is located and the staff are always there, always friendly, the place is clean, quaint and tiny, but so what, no need to pay 2 or 3 times more for not a whole lot more else where.. what you save here you get to spend on delicious... Two outstanding things about this hotel are location and price. The part of Quartier Latin, where the hotel is situated, is very central and very safe. For this position the proposed hotel price is very adequate. However this is the end of delights. Some people write that the view from the window was fantastic. It was not my case. My... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The location is unbeatable (especially for the price). It was near everything, but the area isn't overly touristy, so we were able to easily find many places that had a locals feel. Our room was on the 7th floor and it was... More

Small but clean and functional. Close to RER for airport transfers. Easy walk to good restaurants. Staff were helpful, even for 2am returns. Walk to everything, Louvre, Tower, Gardens ( I like walking). Laundromat around the corner, supermarket the other corner. Would stay again.

Quiet and cozy place to stay in Paris. The size of the room is perfect for solo traveler like me. I always had a good sleep, and I mostly woke up around 11 AM. The best thing about the hotel is its location - near Odeon station, Notre dame and Sainte-Chapelle church. I had a good time walking around saint... More

The best thing I can say about this hotel is "location". Located in a quiet side street off the Boulevard St Michel it is the intellectual Latin Quarter surrounded by a great vibe, hundreds of bars and restaurants, great shopping parks and walks and close to Notre Dam. Hotels don't come cheap in this area and you don't get much... More

Hotel Saint Pierre is a typical average hotel in Paris. Rooms and badroom (with small shower, sink, hair dryer and toilet) are small and a little bit old fashion (orange coloured woolen blanket on the bed, e.g). The bed is rather large (so-called French bed) for a single bed room in Paris. There is however air-conditioning. And you can also... More

Discovered this hotel a few years ago and have been there again since it is close to prospering Odeon-area and has a reasonable prize. old elevator is romantic, but takes long, some rooms have beautiful views on Notre Dame. have not had breakfast there, since I prefer to have it on the streets of wonderful St. Germain de Pres.

Location, location, location. A definite "find" value or budget wise. To/from CDG airport you walk 2 blocks to a direct RER stop St Michael. I have stayed here 4 or 5 times Quiet rooms- I have always been on 6th or 7th floor. The heat, AC and fan are very responsive and work well. TV only in French. The hotel... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
