The hotel was easy to find, there are a number of metro stations close by, La Republique, St Denis, and Jaques Bonsergent. The area is not the smartest, but seemed to be quite busy, with a large choice of bars, bistros, restaurants and shops. Previous Trip Adviser reports of homeless males sleeping in a nearby arch are still valid. However,... More

Taylor hotel is a beautiful, small hotel in Paris, the kind of hotel you look for when you think of a romantic stay in this wonderful city. It is small, but has a four person elevator, great to use with luggage. The room has wooden floor, love it!!! It was incredible clean and smells clean. The bathroom simple but neat.... More

For Paris, I'd say this is a very well-priced hotel - our double room was of a decent size, with a good bathroom, and the location is convenient for the Marais, the Canal St Martin and Gare du Nord. Don't bother with breakfast - there are a dozen local bars within 5 minutes walk where you can get a far... More

The hotel is in a side street about a 15 min walk from the station. It's a quaint hotel. Friendly staff. The bed is so comfortable. I did have breakfast in the morning but was not too pleased to look at 2 slices of bread. Cold pancakes. A toaster. Baguettes with jam and yogurts. I was served tea but no... More

Dear Madame Please accept our thanks for your comment. It is true that Paris is a magnificent city where culture is mixed with history, art and fashion…. Just as you wrote the Parisian metro is indeed the best and easiest way to move around the city and go from one place to another. In regards to the noise created by... More

Let's just say we travel often for business and/or pleasure. This hotel have 3 stars in Internet, when it is really a 2, we found out once we were there. We had to change room on the first night due to plumbing problems in the sink (5th floor). We were disappointed on the room quality and size to include the... More

The hotel Taylor is like hundreds of 3 star small hotels in Paris. First the good things. The price was great and room, while tiny, was well appointed with a comfortable bed and good linens. The rest, however, is unmemorable. The biggest downside is the noise. The hotel is adjacent to a alleyway where a large group of homeless people... More

A nice little Hotel on a quiet street. It is close to many shops and restaurants, it is also ideal for the Gare de Nord and Gare de Est train stations which are a stop on the metro or a 10 min walk. All of the Paris attractions are accessible via the metro, for which the are a couple of... More

Quiet hotel a short walk from the metro. Close to a delicious bakery - Du Pain et des Idees - which meant we did not try the breakfast here. Rooms were clean and comfortable and charming. Bathroom was tiny and faded but adequate. Wifi was a pain to connect to unless we were in the lobby. Front desk staff were... More

My partner and I were only in Paris for a few days to take in the sites and Taylor hotel was perfectly situated. Just a short walk from the metro (2 minutes) and only a few stops between each attraction. The room was small but in Paris it was expected. It was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean... More
