Just returned from a lovely long weekend at this lovely hotel. This is the second time we have stopped there - great location, close to the metro (less than 5 min walk) plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, all good value and great food. Although there is building work going on at th emoment, it never started before... More

We arrived at Gare Est and made our way to Taylor Hotel. We probably wouldn't have found it without our GPS navigator. Rue Taylor is a very quiet street in the up and coming area of the 10th Arond. The area is up and coming, but we did not expect pee and feces on the sidewalk within feet of the... More

We stayed here in April for a long weekend, which was beautiful. The hotel is close to the Eurostar (2-3 metro stops) and supper close (5 min walk) to Republica, a very well connected metro station. The hotel has a nice reception with very nice staff, a small elevator for a suitcase and one person. The room was as expected... More

Clean and good location, and that's it. Rooms are very small in reality. Elevator is very small and old... Hotel actually needs for renovation. Online booking offer in reality is upseting. Hard to understand others who are telling - this hotel is good! It's moore like hostel with unbelievable hight price.

Stayed here as a couple in late March, and could not fault the hotel. Rooms were lovely and cosy, beds really comfortable. The location of the hotel was excellent. I was concerned about earlier reviews and the location of homeless people close to the hotel, but I did not witness this once during my stay, and it would be possible... More

Stayed at the Taylor hotel for 1 night with my daughter for her 16th birthday paris shopping trip. Arrived about 12 noon, walked from the Gare du Nord station about 15 mins but quite a direct route. Told we could not check until 3 but we could leave our luggage and use the ladies room to wash up and change... More

The hotel was easy to find, there are a number of metro stations close by, La Republique, St Denis, and Jaques Bonsergent. The area is not the smartest, but seemed to be quite busy, with a large choice of bars, bistros, restaurants and shops. Previous Trip Adviser reports of homeless males sleeping in a nearby arch are still valid. However,... More

Taylor hotel is a beautiful, small hotel in Paris, the kind of hotel you look for when you think of a romantic stay in this wonderful city. It is small, but has a four person elevator, great to use with luggage. The room has wooden floor, love it!!! It was incredible clean and smells clean. The bathroom simple but neat.... More

For Paris, I'd say this is a very well-priced hotel - our double room was of a decent size, with a good bathroom, and the location is convenient for the Marais, the Canal St Martin and Gare du Nord. Don't bother with breakfast - there are a dozen local bars within 5 minutes walk where you can get a far... More
