Well, ok, not exactly cheerful... And, on sec on thought, not that cheap. But you get the idea... First of all, everything is tiny. I usually smile at the reviews saying "the room was too small, I couldn't fit all my luggage!" (well, how much luggage can one need on a trip?..), but in this case, rooms are REALLY small...... Stayed here as it was good value and good position so close to opera and the grand magasins. Room was small but good value. Shower in bathroom was a bit of a miss as was reliable hot water. Drop off and pick up was a challenge as there was roadworks opposite the hotel and parking space was negligible. Close to... More

We stayed here on our first day in France. We were super disappointed. The lobby area is tiny, and is several steps up from the street. It is a hassle to get your luggage in if there are other people in the lobby. The rooms are also very small and uncomfortable. Our particular room faced the street and it was... More

For me the plus points were the great location, very pleasant and helpful staff and the fact it was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Not so great was the noise from outside (although hardly the hotel's fault) and my extremely small room which made it hard to relax. Also breakfast was pretty poor and in a very small area.

Well located in the central of Paris, directly next to St Lazare metro station. Very convenient hotel. Room is clean and housekeeping agent is very efficient, loyal and trustworthy. Breakfast room is very small and very poor in terms of items. Room is very small, no restaurants, no facilites and no room service. If you are looking to spend 2-3... More

We found this hotel by chance, well situated in the centre of Paris, most enjoyable stay, the rooms were well furnished, quite and clean, all that one would wish for a good nights sleep. Next time in Paris we would recommend this hotel. Only problem situated close to a main line station with a few tramps in the ajoining Streets.

We were very happy with this hotel. It has obviously been renovated recently, as everything is nice and clean. The wallpaper and carpets look new. We had requested a quiet room, and that is what we got. Our room (# 51) overlooked a little park and some Paris rooftops. Super. The rooms are small, as is normal in that category... More

This hotel was located adjacent to Gare St Lazare, one of the main train and tube stations so it was in a good location, there is also a good shopping centre as part of the train station although you wouldn't realise it from the outside of the building. The rooms were not too small although rooms in Paris are meant... More

We stayed in Austin's Saint Lazare for 10 days, and were very satisfied. The hotel is in a very good location, opposite to the train and metro station and in a walking distance to the Opera and the Grand Magasins. The hotel was very clean even if small and offered a breakfast that included french croissants ,baguettes, cheese, hot chocolate and more. The breakfast room... I was booked in the Arts & Metiers hotel for 1 night but on arrival was advised there was water leaking on the 1st floor. A taxi was booked paid for by the hotel to take me to their sister hotel the Saint Lazare. My room was on the 6th floor right next to the lift which I could hear... More
