We booked this hotel well in advance having read mixed reviews! however it was lovely, the staff were friendly and professional. We arrived late at the airport and caught a Taxi directly to the hotel, where the 24hr reception came in handy, we were leaving the afternoon of the next day so we asked them to book us an airport... The location is so great in the heart of lively Paris, yet the hotel is peaceful and well maintained. I departed very early in the mornig and yet they arranged a nice breakfast for me and my wife. The service was even better as I noticed upon returning home I left my mobile phone in the room. The people at... More

We had a very interesting trip from CDG Airport to St Lazare Station after a very long trip from Australia to France. We were delighted to find a comfortable, well proportioned room with a shower and bath, AND, as requested, remarkably quiet despite the noisy street below. We did have to carry our bags up the final flight of stairs... More

St. Lazare hotel is not a grand hotel, but the room was very nice and proper. Well cleaned every day. It is just across the side entrance to the railway station, so it is very good if you have a train to catch. Nice area and within walking distance to the centre. I warmly recommend it. Did not have breakefast.... More

I have found this hotel to be very expensive for the service rendered, the staff was not helpful at all, they were not nice, and they barely spoke English plus there was nowhere mentioned that the breakfast is 10€ a day per person, they will let you know only at check-out letting you believe it's included in the price AND... If you need to take the train to Normandy (or northern régions) this little hotel is right next door to the station St Lazare and also in the heart of the shopping centre (Galeries Lafayette and Printemps). We booked online and were not surprised to arrive in a very small lobby as hôtels in Paris at this budget level are... More

Very small rooms but then this is Paris! Good location for getting into Pigalle and Montmartre. I got a good deal on price at 60 euros and would definately not pay 120 euros per night...............Lots of eating places withing walking distance. Metro a few steps away.

I traveled to Paris in September with my parents and we stayed at this hotel. We all shared one room, to cut down on cost, and although it was a tight squeeze with all of us in a triple room, Austin's was able to accommodate us at a decent price. There was a queen (I think) bed and a twin... More

We thank you for your coment . It helps us a lot to improve our service . The hotel has recently been renovated ; painting , bedding . The hotel is well located ; not far from a lot of subway stations . There is in St Lazare station a huge shopping center with 80 shops . Do not hesitate... More

Austin's Saint Lazare Hotel is a wee bit strange. My room was tiny but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast room is an old coal cellar (I think) but again small and spotless. The staff are very friendly. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you but if you want a clean, honest hotel close... More

Well, ok, not exactly cheerful... And, on sec on thought, not that cheap. But you get the idea... First of all, everything is tiny. I usually smile at the reviews saying "the room was too small, I couldn't fit all my luggage!" (well, how much luggage can one need on a trip?..), but in this case, rooms are REALLY small......
