So disappointing!!!!! .... I had left several hundreds of dollars in my carry on my bag in the hotel. when we got back to the hotel .. the room was poorly cleaned and the money was gone. The area is horrible. its dirty and EXTREMELY noisy!!! ... absolutely disgusting. they ask you to leave your key at the reception table... More

This was our first visit to Paris but we had done our research and knew what to expect from bargain hotels in Paris. This place did not disappoint. The rooms were pretty small especially the bathroom but everything worked. The hotel had been remodeled from an apartment building (so it seemed) and you could tell. The plumbing in the bathroom... If you don't need to stay in downtown Paris, this little hotel in Montmatre-right outside the train station (@30 min.from Paris) is perfect. You're right in the middle of a little town, a boulangerie on the corner, a fantastic coffee place on the other one, the post office right at the exit of the train station, an internet office at... A quick weekend get away was needed and the hotel was a nice example of a 'no thrills' hotel. It was clean and easy to find - particularly nice from the closest metro stop you get to walk DOWN steps at the end of a days sightseeing! Our room looked almost exactly as the picture shows and for resting your... More

Situated in the Montmartre District, this hotel, while in a decent location ranks very poorly due to the unhelpful staff and poor accommodations. The rooms are very small even by European standards. Double beds are simply two twins shoved together which allows guests to fall through to the floor without a safety harness. I would say you have approximately 1... More

Just back from a great trip to Paris, we have used this hotel several times and found this time to be as good as ever. I have read other reviews about this hotel and they are simply not accurate, a great location to visit Sacre cour and Montmatre. Clean and tidy, helpful staff, breakfast good. Only one small criticism, the... More

After reading other reviews, I was expecting disappointment. I'm pleased to say that the reviews I read were best ignored. OK, so the room was small and so too was the shower but i'm well overweight and had no problems. My wife and I wanted somewhere close to Sacre Coeur and ths was the perfect place to stay. Less than... More

I'll start with the good qualities. The staff is incredibly friendly, room and common areas are clean, it's a short walk to the metro and all the Montmartre sights, and there's a great little Boulangerie right outside the front door. Now the bad, I read on here before our stay about how small the bathroom was, but I wasn't prepared... More

First the good, The Hotel was clean, the beds comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful and the location was just a few minutes walk to the Metro which is great in Paris. Now the bad. It's hard to explain how small the shower is, but trust me if you drop the soap you'll need to open the shower... More

Nice quiet location, near Metro. Tiny rooms & baths (tiny beds for 2), very good heating, clean & practical. No thrills. Staff friendly depending on shift. Breakfast, ok even if a little poor. Wifi at 3 Euros day or 5 two days with good connection.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
