I'll start with the good qualities. The staff is incredibly friendly, room and common areas are clean, it's a short walk to the metro and all the Montmartre sights, and there's a great little Boulangerie right outside the front door. Now the bad, I read on here before our stay about how small the bathroom was, but I wasn't prepared... More

First the good, The Hotel was clean, the beds comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful and the location was just a few minutes walk to the Metro which is great in Paris. Now the bad. It's hard to explain how small the shower is, but trust me if you drop the soap you'll need to open the shower... More

Nice quiet location, near Metro. Tiny rooms & baths (tiny beds for 2), very good heating, clean & practical. No thrills. Staff friendly depending on shift. Breakfast, ok even if a little poor. Wifi at 3 Euros day or 5 two days with good connection.

Kind service and confortable rooms. The best thing about this hotel was the amazing heating in the room, and the worst thing was the tiny bath and room. The subway station is really close to the place. Not free wifi

We booked via Logitravel and paid 200€ 4 nights + breakfast (price settled by the hotel for our room 135€ night + 10€ breakfast). Near the metro, nice staff and clean room (quite small but nice). The buffet was simple, I specially missed natural juices and fruit. The wahsbasin was clogged up with hairs. I told the staff supervisor about... More

The Comfort Hotel Lamarck is located in Montmarte on rue Marcadet near an intersection of four small medieval sized streets. It is also located about 50 yards north of the Lamarck – Caulaincourt metro station. Most of the 50 yards is uphill so if you have any mobility issues make sure you add some extra time to get to the... More

Good location, close to the metro, responsive staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Wi-Fi is completely satisfactory for travelling and recreational purposes. TV program could be more varied for reiny days, when remaining in hotel. Recommend!

Once the very rude front desk staff checked us in, we spent the next 10 minutes trying to figure out where to put our stuff the room was SO small! The bathroom was also very tiny with a shower that barely fit one person and had a shower head that was falling apart, spraying water in multiple directions, which would... More

Three couples stayed at this hotel for three nights during our travels through Europe. This hotel is odd, tiny and hot. The rooms and bathrooms are very small. There is no AC, but at night in late September the rooms would cool off with the windows open. The cleaning staff will close your windows and turn off fans during the... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
