Good location, close to the metro, responsive staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Wi-Fi is completely satisfactory for travelling and recreational purposes. TV program could be more varied for reiny days, when remaining in hotel. Recommend!

Once the very rude front desk staff checked us in, we spent the next 10 minutes trying to figure out where to put our stuff the room was SO small! The bathroom was also very tiny with a shower that barely fit one person and had a shower head that was falling apart, spraying water in multiple directions, which would... More

Three couples stayed at this hotel for three nights during our travels through Europe. This hotel is odd, tiny and hot. The rooms and bathrooms are very small. There is no AC, but at night in late September the rooms would cool off with the windows open. The cleaning staff will close your windows and turn off fans during the... More

Two of us went on a long weekend break to Paris and stopped here. The hotel lobby was a taster of how small and cramped the rooms were! On entering the room, I was overwhelmed with how small it was. There was no way that the bed was a double bed. The bathroom - very convenient if you like to... More

Pros: Bed was amazing, friendly and accommodating staff, clean and trendy room, FANTASTIC continental breakfast, secure room, hot water and clean/stocked bathroom, cute terrace space just outside room window, very close to Lamarck metro station, close to Montmartre and Sacre Coeur, located in a nice area, near a lot of convenient shops. Cons: Room was small, had to check room... More

More like a bed & breakfast than a hotel Pros:Clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, convenient location. Lots of eateries, bus, trains. Sacre Coeur is a must see that can be walked to. Lots of shopping! Cons: small, no ac, no ice. It was cool in the evenings so sleeping wasnt a problem with the windows open. Last evening had neighbors... More

This place is horrible, do not think about booking a room here. They falsely advertise there rooms and conditions. It is hard to believe anyone has rated this shambles of a place. The service is not better than one star, at its best. It is unkept, very small, riffraff hanging about, construction just outside the window, and loud people at... More

Firstly about the hotel. No air conditioning or fan - crazy hot so difficult to sleep, room was tiny, shower door didn't close, on the ground floor where building work was taking place that started at 730. Breakfast was mediocre, croissants and French stick. Bed was comfy. Hotel located very close to Montmatre and Sacre Couer which is a great... More

I just arrived here at the hotel Lamarck here in Paris. First night was terrible!!!! I had no sleep. Cons: Tiny room (101), there is a constant smell of pee coming form the barroom, Bed seems to be twin size instead of a double like they advertised in their webpage, my husband and I barely fit in it. Wait I... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
