The hotel is well located near the Gare Montparnasse and various Metro stations. There are heaps of restaurants, bars and a couple of good supermarkets nearby as well. The hotel rooms are a reasonable size and even though our 3rd floor room faced the courtyard of the theatre next door there was very little noise. The bathroom was spacious. Breakfast... More

The hotel is very near the Gare Montparnasse and other public transport. Check-in was fast. Our room was a nice size, the bathroom was well-appointed. As a differently-abled person, I did not have a hard time getting in and out of the shower area. Breakfast buffet was okay, but not that many choices. Was disappointed, though, about the lack of... This was our second stay since 2012 and it’s regrettable to see how much the hotel has fallen in providing amenities to its guests. The hotel used to provide separate bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and moisturizing cream, but this was all replaced by a big tube of multipurpose cleansing gel. It does all right as a body wash... More

Family of 4, first stay in paris. Booked into room 205 which I felt was big enough for us as only there to sleep in as seeing all the sights. Great location close to metro probably 3 min walk away. Quickest check in ever. Although they knew 2 adults and 2 kids it was only made up for two. Asked... More

This hotel has rates of a 5-star palace (250€ in average) and rooms of a motel. My room was small, without a proper desk, and in terrible condition. The bathroom was full of moisture from the walls to the door. The curtains had holes in them and the furniture had spills on it. Breakfast was decent but the restaurant has... More

This was our first trip to Paris, so we have no basis for comparison to other rooms in that area - just hotels in the US and approximately 12 other European hotels. The room was a bit small, but not uncomfortably so. Our room was booked as part of a GoAhead Tour and was not selected by us. We had... More

Visited with family, 2 adults and two kids and booking was a standard room with Sofa bed. Before booking I had checked the website to Identify the room size, however I couldn't find anywhere.I could hardly walk without touching the walls or bed, room was that tiny. Would not recommend it for a family of 4. Had two toilets, 1... More

The hotel is well placed between 2 metro stations so you have access to all areas of the city. Lots of places to have coffee and eat in the surrounding area, small shopping arcade with C&A, Galleries Lafayette, jewellery shops etc. Comfortable room, shower room and tea and coffee making facilities, fridge - everything you need at the end of... We staying at the mercure gaite for 4 nights in August 2014. This was one of the few affordable hotels in the relative center of Paris which accepted 4 travelers (2 adults, 2 kids). We had a room right over the Bobino theatre entrance, clean and adequate for 4 people (of course, you can not call it roomy, but roomy... More
