Useful central Paris location with the added bonus of a private car park. Excellent staff who were friendly and welcoming and went the extra mile to be helpful The location is in a busy area with a number of bars and restaurants close by Rooms are not huge but adequate and well appointed Good value considering central city location

A lovely boutique hotel, very stylish, new and clean. The room was rather small but comfortable and the shower fantastic! Our room was at the back, very quiet and looking into a lovely inner court. Rich and yummy buffet style breakfast and very helpful stuff.

The location is convenient for the Montparnasse Station, and on a direct metro line from the Gare du Nord where the Eurostar arrives. The area is vibrant, but the families sleeping on the street were a bit of a shock. The best things were the bed and the reception staff. The bathroom was rather cramped. I was unimpressed with the... More

Stayed at this hotel 2nd week of November. It was a family trip to Disneyland and also Paris. The hotel is situated very close to Metro station and it's easy to reach from the airport. The Eiffel tower and other tourist sights are in walking distance. There are restaurants for all cuisines near by and especially 2 streets for crepes.... More

This very comfortable hotel is ideally situated for the theatres, cinemas, bars and restaurants of Montparnasse with easy access by bus and metro to other parts of Paris. The staff were always pleasant and helpful.

This hotel is located in a great area close to the Gare Montparnasse and Edgar Quintet Metro. The hotel was booked through Priceline bid site and we requested a 4 star hotel. This is the hotel we were assigned. It is a far cry from a 4 star hotel. At best it is a 1 star. The hotel needs a... More

We were trying to get in to the establishment around midnight half past. The outside ambiance was dirty. The inside lobby had a rotating door. My disabled husband and I were trying to get assistance w/ luggage s. A very sharp no was the response provided by a black female staff. After I single handedly hauled everything in I could... More

Booked for one night with the family as we had to commute from Montparnasse station to CDG airport the next day. Location is interesting next to transport and restaurants. Saturday morning you can find the Edouard Quinet fresh market which is pretty lively. Hotel itself is nothing special. Rooms are very tight. Small bathroom. Front office staff was pretty nice... Stayed at the hotel for a few nights while exploring Paris and visiting Versailles. It is very close to the Gaite metro station, so the location is good. There is not much particularly exciting to see around the neighborhood, but the hotel is in the middle of the city, so easy access to the main sites. The value was good... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
